I'm a huge fan and most people don't tune in since their favourite couple might not get together. GG has MORE to offer! The hiatus might have had something to do with it too...
But there are some things the writers didn't explain or just dropped.
Okay I looove Vanessa and Blair they are my fave charactors and i think they should be some more conflict brtween these two and they'll become friends. Oh Spoiler " Blair gets in NYC early and so does Vanessa and that will make them closer or something and then Vanessa helps Blair follow her heart and Blair makes the most shocking desicion." I read that on Wikipedia, I think it's supposed to be the season finale." Anyways I don't know if it's true or not.
Oh and N and V do belong together and the only reason why people hate NV is because they hate Vanessa. Oh and writers don't listen to these fools, Let Vanessa stay on this show! We need somebody normal like Jenny and Dan. Just give V an awesoem SL and I'm sure people will join the V wagon haha. Blair is awesome don't change her...that's it I guess.

Look. The thing that drew me in about Gossip Girl was that there were 6 characters from so many different, interesting background interacting with each other but the shows stucked to these couple interaction.
Dan/Serena...Serena/Blair...Serena/Chuck
Chuck/Serena...Chuck/Blair...Chuck/Nate
Nate/Vanessa...Nate/Chuck...Nate/Blair
Jenny/Eric...Dan/Jenny.
It's BORING.
Blair & Vanessa time was interesting... WTF happened to Chuck and Jenny after Jenny locked him on the roof.
How come Vanessa all chummy with Jenny all of a sudden?!
Everybodies so focused on Chuck and Blair they forgot about everybody else.
If you only focus on TWO characters is that you made all the other characters (even SERENA!) and it's not longer interesting.

first things first...CHUCK AND BLAIR! We need them together cause I honestly think that they are the only couple on the show that shows any chemistry at all, nate and blair are so boring =(...
Second of all i personally think that they need to experiment with Serena and Nate, they both have that sort of wild thing going on that i think fits very well.
Third of all, you need to redeem Nate, he boring as all hell...
and last but not least, Jenny needs to pop a little bit more, like she needs some type of love intrest to make her more exciting.
oh and i agree with the no long breaks!

Well I personally like Nate/Blair for now because its kind of what we didn't see in their relationship before. I hope its kinda cute.
I think Serena needs to be wild, crazy something!!! I mean the writers should focus a bit more on the books. Serena was some gorgeous IT girl that could get everything she wanted and now she's totally dull.
Blair needs to be a total cut-throat again and Nate needs to be more interesting. He needs to be suave and charming.
Dan I love him and I think he's hilarious. Jenny and Serena I could care less.
Chuck needs to be the badboy and start realizing that he loves Blair.
These writers need to glam up the show. I want to see scandal, hot fashion, drinking/drugs and more gossip! Gossip Girl is a show where people want to see the extreme/unrealistic life of the wealthy so take it to the next level. I mean I know their graduating soon but they're not dying. Its kinda boring. Hope it gets better.

I like this show but the best thing they got going (in my opinion) is Chuck & Blair. If people just like it for them & have seen the complete awfulness of recent events (unreliable Jack promo, ridiculous Elle plot) then I really do not blame them. Why waste your life on something that doesn't even look worthy?! It's television..get over it. It's the creators who supposedly failed to interest the viewers. No one is forcing anyone to watch it & no one should put others down for why they stopped. When I think of "Masterpiece" shows these come to mind: Big Love, Lost, Sopranos, & Six Feet Under. Not Gossip Girl. Don't get me wrong..I like the show. It's a fun guilty pleasure...now its just not fun. But its slowly getting back its groove. I despise Nair but I'll get over it & just wait it out for Chair.

Okay, Chace Crawford is gorgous and all, but i can't stand his acting. He just says the lines, it's SO boring. Serena is good I guess, but Blair's great for the girls and Chuck is great for the guys. I'm so sick of the GG producers trying to do these things with the couples, it's like there's no other interesting plots besides colleges and couples. Season one has each episode having like something one of the characters (usually b) overcoming something DIFFERENT. Like that photoshoot episode, for example. Ever since this Chair stuff, it's all about it. I think the Age of Dissonance was terrible, and there was not point. In season one, by the end of the episode, my chin was on the floor and i wanted to fastforward a week. Now, i sit there and walk away. It sucks. C AND B FOREVER!!!!

I think some of the main problems are:
1) As everyones been saying....us viewers arent shocked anymore. theyre needs to be something dramatic.
2) The producers keep starting the mini-half-almost-there- storylines. ex. elle story line, secret gentlemans club, rachel carr etc. these pathetic storylines seem like fillers and just lame when theyre abrupty ended. its just boring to watch.
3) In season one, theyre was always a main problem where everyone was involved. now...each character ahs theyre own storyline (as mentioned above) that arent intertwining with each other. my favorite exanple is the episode in season one called "school lies" (i think) where serena steals the key to the school pool and everyone is involved. theyre was always a central problem where everyone s lives were impacted and we were always shocked by it. in that episode....serena was guilty, chuck left the pictures behind, nate took the blame, blair was tryign to hider her relationship with chuck...you get m

For me there's only one thing that I really miss otherwise I trust the writers to do the right thing with Blair and whoever she is!
Where the hell went all the humor these last 3 or 4 episodes? I don't remember the last time I had a good laugh or a OMG moment while watching GG! Where is all the shocking and funny things that made it such a good show? Like that famous "I'm chuck Bass" explanation to a lost Serena! I get that all the characters need to evolve and all but hey don't forget wat hooked us! Blair's bitchiness, the fun she has when scheming so please don't make her a saint like Serena(whose wild past I can't even imagine!)! And Chuck, yeah he loves Blair, he wants to be worthy of her love bla bla bla... but where is the guy who wasn't sorry for who he was and what he did?
Yeah, it's the fun of watching GG that I miss...it's all about drama, tough decision and dark roads... Too much drama kills the drama.
Even the last episode wasn't as fun as I hoped it would be and

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to say... ENOUGH WITH THE HIATUSES! We're (Gossip Girl fans) not cool with watching four episodes and taking a month long break (even if it might make the actual season last longer than regular shows). People forget when it comes back, unless they're on these fansites, watch the channel often, or have wacky friends like me who never let them forget. Then Gossip Girl loses viewers because they forget.
AND SERENA AND NATE. Let's touch back on this. They had sex and clearly had feelings for each other in the first season. Let's toy around with this. I don't think that we should keep recycling everyone in their little group, but they weren't much of an item on the show; just using it to create drama. Bring in some newbies. Bring in a new Georgina or something. New people to stir up drama and hook up with everyone.

I know that the Chuck and Blair dynamic might seem like it has to be a game in order to keep the viewers, but I think we all just want them to be together and be happy together. After a while, we get sick of seeing the other do something in order to screw it up. We've been waiting for a year and a half for them to just be happy, so it's about time they do it.
I agree about Chuck being too adult now. First, the hair threw me for a loop. I can guarantee that no one in high school has hair like that. And a gentleman's club? These story lines for him are getting ridiculous and are losing all sense of reality. These kids are high schoolers, so let's not trail off in the sense of interesting, rather than believable.
I really enjoyed The Grandfather, and I like this whole downward spiral for Blair, but I think that Chuck should consult her and be there for her... And actually succeed in it.
I love the OMFG cliffhangers, and I think that as long as you have those, you have a good Gos

Relationships and situations need to be real. I think that is why so many of us had a hard time with the whole Elle and Miss Carr plots.
I do not think Serena needs to explore her wild side again. Something that life changing you are not going to want to explore again. However, I do know that your demons tend to follow you around wherever you go and I think that should be explored when Serena goes to college.
Also, bring back the Blair that is the envy of everyone! Where are her admirers?? She's the Queen B! She has been the subject of too many downers lately and taking too many hits. And let’s not change Chuck too soon! I am not ready for him to be everyone’s hero – just Blair’s. His obsession with her is what got me started with the show.
I love the idea of Vanessa having to become part of Nate’s elite life with his family and still having to preserve herself. A lot can be done with that!

I used to be one of the biggest fans, but well since I can now read the whole story line and plot beforehand online my anticipation for the next episode is declining.
Also it really really is off putting to have to wait for a month or so for the next episode.
Well in the meantime you have to look for something else. (well I turned to skins)
but I am still loving GG. xoxo

I don't think I'm whining when I say that I want Chair together finally. We die hard CB fans do deserve this. Their games of cat and mouse were fun and entertaining in the beginning but when they started to fall in love, so did we. Now, it's time for them to evolve as a couple and I HAVE NO DOUBT that they will entertain me as a couple.
They have so much chemistry that you don't have to be a freakin pultzer prize journalist to give them good SL's. They can carry themselves just fine. So if they want ratings up, pair our beloved Chuck and Blair up for once and see what happens. Take a effing chance here writers. I for one am positive that I shall not be disappointed.

I love Gossip Girl, of course, but I do feel that some of the recent storylines have gone stale. I HATE Nate/Vanessa together, mainly because V is a completely useless character on the show who only stirs up pointless drama that no one cares about.
Chuck is still hilarious, but his grown up behavior, not to mention his five second fascination with that secret society nonsense, is lacking. I'm excited to see him fight for Blair in the upcoming episodes.
One major thing that I think the recent episodes have been lacking is JENNY!! I love her character, even with the crazy fashion and racoon makeup, at least she is interesting and keeps you guessing! I was really excited this season when they flirted with the idea of Jenny and Nate being together, but that they kileld that off faster than you can say gossip! I loved the idea of Jenny with Nate because there is so much that can be explored with those two. Besides, next year all of the older characters are going to be moving on from

May I remind you that the writers and the network were the ones who wanted to roll the dice and try the NBC triangle again. They leaked info about the NB reunion for months, and I really think a lot of Bluck fans got discouraged and gave up. There wasn't a single positive spoiler about Bluck over the hiatus, only more bad news (including the straw that broke the camel's back, IMO * that NB would move in together). They wanted to take this gamble and hoped it would pay off, but it was a huge slap in the face to CB fans who have been waiting for almost two seasons to see their couple together. Can you blame them if they gave up? I can't. Josh said the journey would be fun, but it's actually been torturous. No CB fans are having fun. And after months of NB pics and spoilers, with the news getting worse and worse every week, of course people are going to stop watching. And those that weren't spoiled just got fed up at the end of 2.15, IMO. The writers didn't give them any hope.

Can you blame them if they gave up? I can't. Josh said the journey would be fun, but it's actually been torturous. No CB fans are having fun. And after months of NB pics and spoilers, with the news getting worse and worse every week, of course people are going to stop watching. And those that weren't spoiled just got fed up at the end of 2.15, IMO. The writers didn't give them any hope.

My friends and I just want CHAIR. There's a GG club at school, so we are all huge fans, and we just REALLY WANT CHAIR. THAT"S ALL. Can't the writers just PUT THEM TOGETHER ALREADY??!?!!?!?!?!??!?!
