Is it just the lighting or does Derek have a big grey streak in his hair? lol not the most important thing in the world I know, but for a man who cares a lot about his hair...

I think that the proposal will happen in this season. I just thhink that it will happen after Derek saves Izz. And I don't think Izz is leaving because that most likely means Derek messed up somewhere and he WOULD NOT be able to come back from that.

About the proposal... don't get me wrong, I am all about it happening in the elevator. That big production that Derek planned out earlier in the season (the 1,000 roses, candles, huge teddy bear and all that crap), only to be interrupted by Addison's call? That was so NOT the kind of proposal I'm hoping for.
But if it's Derek opening the ring box and her just kind of shrugging and being like, "OK," I just won't be able to accept that. I need a romantic profession of LOVE! :)
Oh, and so yeah, I'll be happy if they get engaged. But if it takes another four seasons (or even another ONE season) for them to actually get married? PISSED.

Yeah, if they make the proposal simple and plain I'm seiously gonna punch someone! They deserve to have the most romantic and amazing proposal ever, they love each other so much. And WE deserve it too! We true MerDer fans have kept watching and hoping, even though they've destroyed our happiness so many time in breaking them up. We need to get something big back, that's what I'm saying!

Sandra and Kevin are such great actors! Right now they are the only reason I keep watching this show.
I am really glad to finally see a major tv show on one of the best networks to show the reality of today's returning men and women from the war. And most of all, I'm glad that it's very realistic. It's a true story that keeps happening across the country. Owen's POV is so very important too. Saying that he should be able to get through this by himself simply because he is in one piece is something every American needs to hear.
Thanks Shonda!!!!! You really turned my opinion around about Owen.

Omg, this was very intense! I almost fell off my chair when Cristina's face all of a sudden popped up gasping after air. And Owen looked really scary while he was choking her! Great acting by both, especially Sandra. She is an awesome actress!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! where is tonight when you need it!!!!!
Owen and Cristina....that was freaking fantastic!!!! And poor Derek, he needed the stability of Meredith by his side in the whole proposal kind of way, but she wouldn't bend...I think that was right of her to do that, though. Derek needs his head on straight before he can really propose, not be grasping at threads to hold him up.
Ok, but seriously poor Owen...PTSD. God, I've seen what it can do, and he's really playing that well!!! McKidd is seriously fantastic. EEKK!!!!!
I really just love this storyline with Owen, however disturbing it is. It's really giving Kevin (and Sandra) great opportunities with their acting.
I really felt for Alex when Derek mentioned the intense hallucinations, thinking back to when he sort of dismissed Izzie's visions of Denny.

I could be wrong, but it seems like the previews (the C&O and the MerDer ones) are from the beginning of the episode. I think the choking scene might open the episode tonight. As a result, I don't think C&O have "done the deed" before then.
Totally intense scene. I love the beginning camera angle, above the ceiling fan. I also love Meredith. "Oh my god, your neck! I'LL KILL HIM!"
Clearly, Cristina is already completely in love with this guy. She is so supportive and understanding. I'm intrigued by this relationship.
Oh, and if we don't get a total knock-your-socks-off-romantic MerDer proposal tonight, I am going to break something. This has been WAY too long coming.

Does anybody else think that Cristina and Owen have, ya know, done the deed in that bed before he had his nightmare? The spoilers said that it would been soon and surprising... I think a post-hanky panky PTSD episode would count for both soon and surprising. Thoughts?
