ya mark and lexie are a definite possibility. my bet is on Alex/Izzie or Mark/Lexie. but definitely not Mer/Der--it's been going so freaking slow for them, Shonda wouldn't suddenly give us a wedding. I'm guessing engagement this season, baby or wedding next season...or both, then baby for the last season. or something like that.

Think about it. Mark was starting to reevaluate his life as a man-whore. Even when his "little Mark" was broken, he still enjoyed spending time with Lexie. He told her she saved him. I think Mark is finally growing up. Perhaps those teenage girls telling him he looked like their father was a real wake-up call for him.

i think it will be alex and izzie getting married because she finds out she only has five months to live, so alex makes a great big speech to her about how they can't lose the five months that she'll be alive so they'll get married.
PLEASE DON'T MAKE IT LIKE THAT! please make it a derek and meredith marriage because i doubt they would get married right after derek killed izzie or told her that she had five months to live, so in my head -- if derek and meredith get married that means izzie lives and george stays.
or make it lexie and sloan. that would be ok.

Hmm... I guess it really could be any couple... besides MerDer. Shonda wouldn't rush their wedding.
I feel like the renewing of vows between Bailey and Tucker or Adele and Richard would be probable, but insanely disappointing.
However... Alex and Izzie seems relatively likely.
But now that I think about it... Mark and Lexie have been getting a lot of screen time as a couple. Maybe it's all been a build-up for a spur of the moment wedding?

it doesnt seem like its going to be a MerDer wedding... unless Shonda wants us to think its not going to be them and then be surprised when it is...
it might be alex and izzie. eventhough i doubt it... i think we'll just to wait and see! a MerDer wedding wouldnt surprise me unless i kept telling myself its NOT going to be them... ;)

I can not see Alex marrying Izzie...I know he loves her so much, but I just don't think he is there yet. Especially if she does die and will not be back next season.
I want mer/der to finally get married. But, mark and lexie...their is a possibilty there!!

It's not time for Der/Mer to get married. By the season 5 finale they should be engaged. Season 6 somewhere in the middle or near the end a wedding. Because in my mind I have already written them to have baby # 1 season 6 finale or beginning of season 7. I also have them with (2) kids and a third on the way at the season 7 finale. (I've even gone so far as picked out the kids names/sex)
Okay, so i'm a little obsessed with GREYS, Give me a break!!
So, No it's not Mer/Der getting married. It's Alex/Izzie!
It just makes sense, he feels he's going to lose her. He's loved her from day one.

My mind is leaning towards Sloan and Little Grey but my heart aches for it to be Derek and Meredith. It sounds so silly but maybe that is why Derek got a haircut (of course it could be just because Patrick needed one!) and with the name of the episode being "Beautiful Day" - which are words Derek always includes in his little saying before each of his surgeries and it being the 100th episode (something special) - I'm hoping my heartache wins out.

George and Izzie gettin back together is the most far-fetched thing on here so far. They are just friends and he is simply just concerned for her. They have always been super close and of course he is gonna be upset. There is no way they are gettin back together. I think Callie was saying dont hide from Izzie because if she doesnt make it out of surgery you have to live with that. He needs to tell her he loves her (as a friend!!) because you never know whats gonna happen.

for some reason i'm starting to think that george and izzie will get back together....because he's smashing bones and freaking out and didn't callie say "she's your bestfriend you love her, you have to tell her" or something?... and they are both leaving....so maybe this is there exit.

Okay, Shonda would would be CRAZY to have a Denny/Izzie wedding after all the Denny backlash. Its one thing if Izzie dies and goes into the light with Denny, but a wedding? That would be beyond dumb to me. Who will walk her down the aisle, Doc? Really old guy? Would angels with harps provide the music?
Plus, it wouldn't be joyous for any of the Fab 5 because she would be dead. Seriously, I don't necessarily want Alex and Izzie to get married under these circumstances, but if Izzie marries anyone other than Alex, that will be it for me.

The writers let Izzie have sex with a dead Denny. Anything is possible. Not that I like any of it, but it's all possible!

I really think it could be Alex and Izzie getting hitched. But with the writers of this show, it's really hard to say for sure. Also, I remember Shonda saying that everything you need to know about this season was foreshadowed in "Dream A Little Dream of Me." That kinda leads me to believe that maybe a Denny/Izzie wedding could happen if Izzie dies because at the end when she comes off the elevator to see Denny he tells her she looks better than a bride and then they walk off into the light. Totally not what I want to happpen at all BUT it could be. I really just dont want Izzie to leave. I am very anxious to see the next episode and to see how Alex reacts to all of this. Poor guy!!
