I am hoping for an Alex and Izzie wedding. I love them together!! I really don't see it being Meredith and Derek. That would be too quick. What about Lacy and Sloan?;-) That would be a crazy surprise!

this is a long shot, but what if Izzie asks Meredith and Derek to get married so she can be there because she thinks that she won't be around to see them have a planned wedding. I mean, Izzie has been with Meredith through all the McDreamy drama and wants to see Meredith get her happy ending. I honestly don't see Meredith having a big wedding with the church, flowers and dress...it's not her.
Then Izzie survives the cancer and it's all good!!!

I'm going to guess that Izzie and George get married. Izzie will need to go to a primo cancer center for treatment, George will marry her and go along to take care of her.

it is defiantly going to be an Alex and Izzie wedding. Meredith and Derek's engagement is not the type of thing that Shonda would want to rush. I really hope Izzie does not die,she has been my favorite character from day one and the show will not be the same without her.
This would be unlikely to actually happen but I WISH that Owen and Cristina would get married. They would go to city hall like she wanted to do with Burke and tie the knot.That is the wedding I want to see but we were going to see Alex and Izzie which is great too.

I agree that Shonda loves her full circles and Alex proposing to Izzie on her death bed would be similar to Denny's proposal. I just hope we don't get a scene where Alex screams at her to live for him like Izzie did:
"What about meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee??!!!" LOL!

I think Shonda or whoever released these spoilers is once again playing with us. It is probably Meredith and Derek. And by the way, they may have been dating for almost four seasons (with interuptions), but in weird Shondaland, it was only two years, remember? After all, Mer is now only a second year resident.

I would love nothing more than a MerDer wedding - oh how we've waited! But I think too predictable, so I suspect it's Alex & Izzie that will tie the knot before Izzie dies or miraculous recovers. Wouldn't that also kind of bring it full circle - Denny proposes to Izzie on his deathbed (unknowingly) and then Alex proposes & marries Izzie on her deathbed. Shonda loves that symmetry & weaving of themes.

I'm thinking Alex and Izzie, too. I bet she'll be getting wheeled into the elevator in her hospital bed with Alex by her side and he proposes in the elevator as she is heading off to surgery. The minister will marry them right before her surgery starts or something along that line. Just a guess though. I think it will be somewhat similar to the Izzie/Denny storyline. He was dying and he asked her to marry him, even though his chance of survival was slim. Although, he did end up dying. I really will miss Izzie on this show (she's obviously leaving the show). It'll be sad to see her go. =(
The Mer/Der engagement seems too predictable. I think they will get engaged in Thursday's episode, but won't marry right away.

Ya I'm thinking Alex/Izzie wedding considering the fact that Justin says Alex won't be running and they're both in love with each other and all that, and considering its supposed to be this big surprise and we've all been dyyying for a Mer/Der wedding AND Izzie's dying soooo ya! FUN!!!
I would have said Owen/Cristina but I don't think it's moving fast enough....and Shonda's not that nice to give us a Mer/Der wedding : ) I guess the engagement will have to be enough!

I think it'll be Izzie and Alex although i want it to be Mer and Der!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i guess alex and izzie because of izzie's condition, but, if they do get married, i think izzie will make it. I can't believe they'd kill her off... i mean... that's just cruel. But i still hope it'll be Mer and Der!!!!!!!!

I don't like the sound of an Alex/Izzie wedding... it's too cliché, totally not Alex and i don't like the fact that they will get married only because Izzie is sick... I am really hoping Merder, i would be so dissapointed when that ain't gonna happen! Maybe both, that would be great, but not only Iz and Alex. I like them the way they are now, and Alex needs to learn to support Iz. And we are waiting for like a century on the great MerDer wedding, so please, this time not a strainge storyline again, but just straight to love and happiness!
there will be an Union... if merDer are not getting married, i'm hoping for a crappy baby!

My bet is also on Izzie and Alex due to her condition and Alex words before knowing she was sick. But a quick merder wedding would be surprising too...
And please NOT Mark and Lexie! That would be a disaster! Bad couple, bad storyline...
