I think PD was WAY too careful in his wording when he was interviewed on The View for it to be a MerDer wedding. He said there would be a wedding this season, but backed down when asked whether it would be a MerDer wedding and said there would be a union between them this season. It was just too perfectly scripted so that it would keep us guessing...
Anyway, I think it will be an Izzie/Alex wedding, but I also think it could come completely out of left field and be a Mark and Lexie wedding. Like a completely impromptu thing to get everyone to shut up about their relationship. But I don't think it will be a MerDer one- especially if there is a minister scripted for the episode. I really don't think it would be very Derek and Meredith to have a minister officiating. I don't think either of them are religious. Izzie is religious though...

If it is Mark and Lexie, I'm gonna kill myself. They are the most boring couple ever and they don't have any chemistry at all. Why does this couple get so much screentime? Especially over Geroge. I don't get it.

As much as I would LOVE for it to be MerDer, I doubt it. If it's a surprise, well, we're all expecting them to get married sooner or later. My bet is on either Alex and Izzie, or Lexie and Mark. Since they're so incredibly "deep".

When that news from Shonda first came out, my frist thought was Alex and Izzie because she wanted to be a bride and she is sick and maybe dying and who knows if she will get one otherwise. I am pulling for a Meredith Derek wedding though. Who knows, maybe Mark and Lexie will suddenly get married?!

I can't picture Izzie and Alex - if she's dying. It's way too sappy. What's the point of marrying just to be widower? Unless maybe he wants to give Izzie that moment. That I could buy.
If it's Izzie and Denny in heaven, I'll puke. I think the guy who plays Dennie is out filming something else though, and can't come back. No?
My bet is Meredith and Derek, so Izzie can be IN the wedding.

I cant wait to see who will get married! I don't want it to be Izzie and Denny getting married in heaven!! I think it might even be alex and izzie getting married but i dont know if alex would step up to the plate! This wedding has to actually come out with people married, PLEASE not another Christina and Burke wedding!

I'm hoping for MerDer, along with everyother MerDer fan. But I'm also thinking Alex and Izzie. But not a sad she's going to die wedding. Maybe she has her surgeries, starts to get better, and than Alex realizes how much he loves her and they get married.

alex and izzie...or denny and izzie...I dont know though denny and izzie will have to be izzy dying. and I DONT WANT HER TO DIE!!! how will tha twork in with the rest of the characters next season, everyone will be depressed, alex especially, derek may blame himself I don't know. Shonda has me completely in the dark on this one...usually im leaning full towards one way, but I honestly can't decide if she will live or die ?!?

I think that we will get an Izzie/Alex quickie ceremony at the hospital and then a Mer/Der wedding in the finale after Izzie survives her surgeries.
I don't mind an A/I wedding, but I wish it were under different circumstances.
