.. just a TV soap opera, I keep telling myself- but it did my heart good to watch and hear the scene between Richard and Meredith--
Shonda Rhimes, aka 2009's Jane Austen :-) is working out some satisfying 'matches'- I particularly enjoy Owen and Christina. there are depths of intensity that you can see both actors love digging into! and they're up to the task-
I realize the storyline about the abusive husband touches on an important 'topic'- but couldn't get the what-is-a-stage?mother/father-doing-agreeing-to-their-child's-reciting/understanding-those lines. wow. don't know that I could do that..

dammit! in the promo i think i can see alex standing at the alter and derek sittig in the crowd :( why in gods name do they always have to get us so excited and then just ruin everything :( it's mean. at least we have the finale left, but now when I've seen the church and dresses and everyone who's there and everything, it just makes me wanting them to get married like that even more. dammit i can't wait any longer
Grey's keeps getting better each episode..great writing and great acting! bravo shonda and team! excellent job..I really liked MER and RICHARD's scene. We see that Mer has grown.I also liked izzie and mom scenes, some were funny yet most of it made me cry. it was heartbreaking to know Izzie isn't well yet. Izzie's mum made the episode light at the same time, intense. sandra oh is great as usual. I liked christina and Owen's scene, It's hard for both of them. Alex was really sweet to Izzie, I cried when Izzie was brought to OR, and Alex has this sad look on his face. Mark was sweet to Lexie as well, he came to dine with Thatcher, and He and Callie should really maintain their great friendship. LOve this episode. Oh and Derek, well he's always gonna be mcdreamy. He's so hot and he stood up for Mer, talked to Richard, love him as well.

I was watching the new promo slowly and I think richard is sat down and yang is smiling to someone doesn't look like mark
I LOVED the final scene with Mer and the Chief, it was a very powerful scene. So good! The whole episode was excellent and my friend and I could not believe that an hour had passed when it was over.
Come on Izzie, fight this!!! I hope they don't kill her and I am so excited for the next episodes!

Every week I switch off the TV totally moved and I keep thinking: This cannot get better. But it does. This episode again was moving, funny, sad, emotional, just perfect.
The scene with Mer and the Chief was amazing, finally! And I think it's pretty good that she wants to hand him the dairies of Ellis. Mark underwent a huge change apparently, loved that he went to meet Thatcher. Izzie sad, of course. Christina and Owen...never really likef them together...
What got me most was the storyline about the little girl and Mer fighting for her . And Arizona telling Callie the thing while operating was extremely cute, too.
Can't wait for the next epidode(s) and I try not to think or assume what's gonna happen, I just let myself be surprised and enjoy it. Cause lately I never got disappointed while watching Greys.
Greetings from Germany :)
This epi was so powerful, I loved every single part of it. Best scenes were Mer and the Chief (especially in the end), Mark and Lexie, and I loved Bailey also, she rocked as usually. Oh, and Owen and Cristina in the end were good too.
P.S. Mer's gift for the Chief were her mother's journals. :)))
on abc.com are available two sneak peeks wich are very shocking , especially the second one, i can't dry up, Izie sees Deny, again, some of producers lied to us that we won't see deny again, i like his character but in relation to izie anymore, i wish to be wrong but i think we won't see izie anymore, even in the 101 episode, she's dying :((( some other comments about the sneak peeks ?

I think Shonda means that he is not a ghost, but a hallucination, because his appearance means Izzie is not getting any better.
Yay!!! guess I was right that the 100th episode will feature MerDer's wedding =) it appears perhaps maybe IzzieAlex's aswell? but i reckon theirs are going to be in the later episode.
Oh and Danny's coming back - "Denny definitely comes back to Grey's Anatomy this season (probably for the 100th episode), but Shonda Rhimes warns: "Just a reminder: He's not a ghost, and we should all remember what his appearance means." hm... if we are not gonna see Denny as a ghost, would that be he meets and greets Izzie in the after-life? I have a feeling that Izzie's gonna die :( please don't make izzie go - we need her humour.

Okay, totally confused as to what Meredith's gift was to the Chief... maybe I just was not paying attention.... Does anyone think they will write in Ellen Pompeo's pregnancy....

I don't agree that Lexzie conquers all, quite the opposite, but all the Gizzie fans are asking are friendship scenes, so I don't get your meanness.
Izzie can have a lover and a best friend. Just last episode, Alex asked george to help with Izzie.
Izzie and George have always been best friends, and they were last time when she was with Alex.
The majority of people love that friendship and want it back. The ratings reached a new low last week.
I think a lot of Gizzie fans who quit would come back if we had friendship scenes.
Shonda should know not to treat an entire fanbase so badly especially when their demands, friendship, are so reasonable.
for those of u who didn't get to watch the episode. surfthechannel.com is usually the first to post it. oh, and for thhose asking, there were no Gizzie scenes. B/c Lexzie conquers all XD. They're so getting married next week. whether it's real or imaginary on the other hand...

So no Gizzie scene again?
I am so tired of not getting any.
She at least owes the Gizzie fans that after this awful season.
It seems she is afraid if she gives them any scenes, people will realize what amazing chemistry they have.

Great episode tonight.
Loved Mer-- she rocked the epi. Her scenes with the Chief VERY powerful.
I have to say, though, that I knew what her gift was going to be (for the Chief) as soon as I read the spoiler :)
I was hoping for some Gizzie scenes, though. Maybe next time. It was good to see George, though ;)
My heart was breaking for Izzie. Loved the scenes w/ her Mom.

No offense but I can't stand Alex and Izzie together.
The last thing I want is them getting married.
I guess I'll always root for Gizzie, even though Shonda is too coward to go there.
Did george have any scene at all?
I won't be able to watch until tomorrow and I won't watch if he is not in it.

This was a really good episode especially w/Izzie's mom haha! what a riot! but about next week's episodes I know that it's definitely not a Mer/Der wedding (something's gonna happen to change their minds) it does look like an Alex/Izzie wedding but I'm thinking it's a fantasy wedding because of the tumor idea something's just telling me that a wedding can't be done that easily for any of the couples. (I really want 2 be wrong though! I WANT AN ACTUAL ALEX/IZZIE WEDDING! it would be so awesome)
