Below are a couple of quick Gossip Girl spoilers from EW's Michael Ausiello in his weekly column. Give them a read and tell us what you think - in particular the first:

Q: Scoop on Gossip Girl please.

A: First, a correction about something I said last week. Turns out, Chuck does not try and sabotage Blair's campaign for prom queen. It's actually just the opposite.

Q: Any Gossip Girl season finale scoop?

A: The episode revolves around the gang trying to smoke out Gossip Girl.

OH MY CHAIR(LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL) can't wait, so Nate's gonna be the king???
Oh well, but Queen B. only has a King and is Chuck! Chuck helping her! ,,
Once Gossip girl said: "With Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf, you don't need an Army" and that's right! CBCBCBCBCBCBCBCBCB♥

Wow, did not realise that was a butterfly. Looked like a flower of sorts to me at first glance.
There is no way Chuck could become prom king, I love him and all, but as it has proclaimed many times throughout the seasons Chuck does not have many friends, or people who like him so unless he blackmailed people into making him prom king then...wait, yes there is a way for Chuck to become prom king. That would be hilarious with Chuck and Blair as king and queen. lol...still unlikely though as Nate was up on stage with Blair when she got her crown according to the spoiler pics.

XOXO_96 I was thinking the same thing reading the thread for the first sneak peek - people are more forgiving of Blair. I always felt bad for Chuck at the beginning of High Society when she says "I don't want anyone to know". Ouch. Anyway, I knew there had to be a mistake about Chuck-sabotage-at-the-prom rumor... it just didn't gel with the whole season, which unfolded as a kindof slow-motion epiphany for him. Maybe they should've given him a butterfly-pattered bow-tie! I'm thinking Blair may come to realize at the prom that she loves Nate - but is not *in* love with him... which would explain her being happy in some photos then the clinging sadness when they're dancing, and then her leaving alone. I definitely do NOT think she leaves with Chuck. I mean, then why ***SPOILER*** would Chuck be giving her gifts and flowers on the street if they were already together at the end of the prom?***END SPOILER*** For her and Chuck to work, it's not only Chuck who has to change...The butterfly (good eye!) may represent her realization that she is not defined by a man, a college, or a social club... and that no other person or thing is the key to her happiness.

This makes me so happy! Go chuck!

Chuck and Blair Blair and Chuck The King and Queen of the show!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I find very "cheesy" the prom Queen and King thing - perhaps because I don't live in US and I don't know what this is all about exactly! But if my Chuckie wants to make his Blair happy by assisting her election or whatever it's called, then I'm standing on his side! GO CHUCK!!!

If Chuck is helping Blair, then I'm happy! YEEAH:)

I'm soo glad about this! Chuck is going to do the right thing and make Blair happy even if it hurts him that she is with Nate! Chuck and Blair are soo awesome!

"'I would be laughing ecstatically if Chuck became Prom King. That would be hilarious; he's not exactly the stereotype.' GG hasn't exactly been known for keeping the stereotypes too straight, tbh." Yes, but irony amuses me. He just seems...so out of place with normal society, with his overage habits and penchant for floral bow ties and social destruction. Just think of the ways he would convince people to actually vote for him! It makes me chuckle.

leighton looks stunning as always

Gossip Girl

[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you.
