Why are we all so sure that Chuck will help her campaign? It says "just the oppposite," but there can be many opposites for different ideas. What I immediately thought of was Blair sabotaging Chuck's campaign to be Prom King (possibly so he gets to dance with Blair, etc) NOT him helping. It's MUCH more likely that those two be confused (Chuck sabotages Blair vs Blair sabotages Chuck) than Chuck helping vs sabotaging Blair. Just an idea, but either would be cute! (Go Chair!)

On another note, Blair's dress is absolutely splendiferous. And Nicole, I would be laughing ecstatically if Chuck became Prom King. That would be hilarious; he's not exactly the stereotype.

Blair Cornelia Archibald, look at the post of the first clip of "The Wrath of Con." In it, several people compliment Nate, though they are Chair-lovers. As for me, I am a die-hard chair fan. I happen also to hold Nate dear to my heart, even though I am not a Nair fan. Granted, I've been a little ticked with Mr. Archibald this entire season, but I respect Nate more now, especially after some of the sneak peeks. I find your "so screw it" comment unnecessary and offensive. Did anyone use insulting language towards you? Aren't you proving whalesweater's points correct?

i'm not sure if i am the "nair hater" you are addressing (i should hope not sice i was and have been pretty clear that i DON'T hate nair or people who support them) but if you want to read multiple chair fans posting that nate has done the right thing just go read all the comments people wrote about the sneak peak of the conversation between chuck and blair. there are a lot of self identified chair fans saying nate was awesome in that clip and is doing the right thing. just because you've "never heard it" doesn't mean it isn't true.
In reply to the Nair hater, we don't hate Chuckand he is doing the right thing. But I've never heard a chair fan say that Nate's ever done the right thing. So screw it.

UGH.
Well here's my prediction:
the GG spoilers made it pretty freakin clear that B will end up with C in this season.
but what will happen next season? one of the reasons i think C is so into B is because of the excitement of the chase. i saw someone mentioned in one of the older posts that C only wants B when she's with another dude, and i think theyr totaly right!
in the next season i think C will grow bored of not having the excitement of pursuin B so he'll just go back to his old ways and let B fall flat on her face lol.
oh B, dont u ever learn? shoulda stuck with handsome lovin nate.

thanks queen bee! i just call it like i see it. i too am a chair fan (not a crazed one mind you, i just find their relationship more interesting and entertaining and i think the characters are better suited. they are written as soulmates and, since this IS a show, i prefer the couple that is more entertaining to watch) but i do like nate and i am enjoying the nate/blair storyline. i get irritated when i read post after post about how all chair fans suck and how chuck is an unrepentent dickhead and nate is an adonis blah blah blah... it gets old! i would take most nair fans more seriously if they weren't so heavy handed in their comments. not all nair fans, mind you, just a lot of them. (and, to be fair, there are chair fans that are like that too - i don't like that approach from anyone).

oh, it's a show? really? i had no idea. thanks for letting me know. i must be confused, i thought this was a website where fans of the, show you say?, could come and talk/debate/share with other fans what they thought about what happens and what they hope will happen. my bad.

Well there are, whale sweater, hating you for saying the truth. Actually that's the whole deal I can't stand about some Nair fans. I love Chair but, like others, I can admit when Nate is right, I can still love him even if he's interrupting Chair or something like that, but the Nair fans just can't. They are in they own gg books world or something and they just can't admit when Chuck is doing the right thing, when he's doing something sweet, or loving. It annoys me SO much.
uhhhh

hmmm... in the post where nate tells chuck to man up there were tons of self-proclaimed chair fans saying they had respect for nate and thought he was sweet and all that. now where are the nair fans, admitting that chuck helping blair win is actually really sweet too and shows he also cares about blair? hmmm.....

I'm so glad Chuck's trying to help Blair instead of hurt her. My guess is that he's so mad that Nate gets to go to prom with Blair that he makes himself prom KING instead!
As you can see in the pictures Nate is next to Blair but he's not wearing a crown.
I'm feeling a really sweet chair scene coming up!

krazy4spike, that idea about the cottillion & its consequences is inspired. It would be so amazing if it were so. The first sneak peak from Wrath of Con shows that even Nate can see that Chuck is lying to himself about his deeper feelings for her. This gesture of selflessness would go a long way to showing his maturity, and his readiness to declare (and fulfill) his love for Blair. I'm on tiptoes with anticipation!

I think that Chuck learned his lesson from the Cotillion. Blair said he ruined it with no regard for what it would do to her, just to get his way. She went with Nate to that and now to the Prom, but this time he is thinking of her feelings and what she would want. Maybe she finds out somehow, or just realizes that her shining moment with Nate isn't what she thought it would be, hence the sitting alone on the steps. Do we know where he says the ILY scene? I don't think it's the outside scene.

He is trying to help her become Queen, show how much he loves her! :D :D
THAT IS THE CUTEST THING I HAVE HEARED IN ALONG TIME!!!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWA CHUCKK!! XXXXXXXXXXXX
Does anyone else feel like the whole trying to find GG is a little Wizard of Oz(ish)? What exactly is going to happen to make Serena want to find her so bad? Because GG has revealed some of the deepest, darkest secrets of these kids' lives all over the internet, and no one has even THOUGHT about going after her. Any thoughts?

awww... thats so sweet an it will show that he only wants to see her happy
SREENA

i think she is alone on the steps cause she finally sealized she is in love with chuck ans not nate
Great! I can't wait for the last two episodes even if that means np GG for 3 months...
Anyway, how are you guys so sure that he helps her? (I hope that will happen!)

April 30th, 2009 10:47 AM
Thank goodness. I was actually worrying about the possibility of Chuck ruining Blair's prom but it turns out, he actually helps her get her shining moment. Good for him for finally stopping to do schemes which could backfire on Blair or on him...but who knows? I'm just really curious why in one of the pictures, Blair was sitting all alone and sad on the steps.
Yay! Chuck finally knows that scheming won't make Blair come back to him. Good for you, Chuck! Go get her!
It's about time he stepped up and did something like this for her. He knows she loves him, and it seems like the entire time they've been together, or whatever the hell they are, he's rubbed that fact in her face. (eg. limo scene last episode: "is that the only reason?") She fought for him like a crazy person, and she really deserves some sort of reward for that. That and Chuck needs to stop being such a pansy.
Haha, yay, I'm so happy! GO CHAIR!
