okay p dempsey said on the view they already shot the merder wedding am i wrong? or they are getting married at the end of the season? he said one of those. but anyway if shonda doesnt have them get married and they break up or something.. whats the point in watching the show..okay yah they have the other characters that i love but merder has been together since day 1 and they NEED a happy ending.

I think that it will be meredith and dereks wedding day and everything will be planned but meredith will give it all to izzy so her and alex can get married.

ok...im commenting again! lol i totally agree with lovethursdays on page 4. alex/izzie should get married on the 7th, and the finale should be saved for merder. if merder gets married on the 7th, then the finale will be all izzie stuff, and dont get me wrong, izzie is one of my all time favorite characters, but i think that the best finale would be: merder wedding, alex/izzie already married, wondering if izzies gonna live, and so on. ok, im pretty sure im done with my comments now. hopefully. haha

now that i read some other peoples comments about a possible dream sequence wedding for merder...that seems very, very possible.it allows shonda to trick us either way, she could say they are tying the not, or they aren't getting married. and, she did say something about going "full circle" season begins with a dream, ends in one.
it brings up a very interesting possibility..im so excited to see how it turns out!!

as much as i love merder, i actually want it to be alex and izzie who get married on the 7th. if thats what happens i think it'll be a very good and emotional episode. i really hope izzie doesnt die though..if they got married and she died, or they planned to get married and she died, i would cry. a lot.
Also i definitely think shonda could be tricking us. she seems to love doing that..its so annoying!
can't wait for "sweet surrender" in 3 weeks!

truth b told none of u guys are really considering the idea that maybe it is going to be merder's wedding on the 7th however true fans of greys know the a day in shondaland can last 3 or 4 episodes (i.e season 1,2,3,4 and probably 5) so yah the izzie thing may take place on merder's wedding day but that does necessarily mean on the 7th of May.
P.S peps stop focusing on something that happens over a month for now enjoy the break but if u must zone in on an episode what abotu april 23rd its closer and easier to track

fan- I hadn't thought of that. I was thinking that Izzie's mom would come and ask about Alex and it would make Izzie realize how much he does actually mean to her and then Izzie's mom would tell her to make sure he knows it, life is short, blah, blah, and may even question Alex about marriage.
I hadn't thought about the legal proxy thing. I kind of hope that isn't it. That's not very romantic at all, not that getting married just because Izzie is sick is romantic either.

My guess: Izzie and Alex. I bet when Izzie's mom visits it doesn't go so well and Alex and Izzie marry so he can legally be her proxy if something goes wrong. Plus they are in love. Anybody with me on this conspiracy theory?

maybe somebody has a real accident.. remember at the first epi, mer had a dream about derek`s accident :s
maybe they`re dreaming about the wedding day but it`s just a dream the hole episode, suddenly wake up and.. bye bye to the next season..

I'm pretty sure that the finale is two hours (ep. 23 & 24) and its called Here's to the Future. For some reason, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some flash forwards, although that usually happens in a series finale, not just a season finale. Hopefully the title refers to Izzie's health and survival.

O.K....... I am taking a leap with this but bear with me! In the first episode, at the end, Izzie got off the elevator and Denny was standing there and he said "you look better than a bride". Shonda claimed in her blog after that episode that every thing had a meaning, there were clues in that episode about how the season was going to go. I do believe that it will be Denny and Izzie in a dream. Izzie and Denny walked off into the light after that. That is a huge clue. They could have shot a wedding dream scene when he was on the show last time. I don not think that it will be Meredith and Derek.

anuflas, this season will have 24 episodes, so 5.23 isn't the last one. ABC already announced a two-hour season finale for Grey's Anatomy on May 14.
There was some reports that episode 23 would be named "Here's to Future Days" and the season finale would be named "Lucid dreams". It's a bit confusing because a two-hour season finale normally would mean episodes 23/24 in the same thursday aired as one... We will have to wait a bit more to see the real name of the last episodes of this season...
