Ok I have to agree. I am sick and tired of the run around they should just let them get married! Or just have along engagement but KEEP THEM TOGETHER! I think that if its not them that its Alex and Izzie. With her cancer and him going in a cup for her. Thats my guess. Sloan..no way would just that fast and we all know that Cristina wont with Owen.

I wanna bet that it will be Mark & Lexie wedding, it's a fact that it will take place on Meredith's & Derek's wedding day but I bet that somehow Meredith backup, NO because she don't want to but because she's not ready or something like that...that's why I think it's more likely that Mark will step ahead Derek and married Little Grey...aww I like that couple a lot, don't know why lol!!!

If the couple who is getting married is not MerDer so it really will be Alex and Izzie. Im sure Alex will try to give her dreams to Izzie. So they ll get married!..

Ok there won't be a merder wedding on that episode (may 7). "merder do not get married on may 7" this is what michael said.so there might be a merder wedding on the episode after that.but it doesn't necessarily mean they are not getting married.shonda said something big will happen on merder wedding day,it's like saying mer and der will indeed get married it's just that something big will happen.and when shonda says big,we better have tissue papers,napkins or hankerchief ready coz there will be a lot of tearjerking moments and surprises ahead of us.too bad we have to wait before we get to see what happens next.dont let izzie die.and dont let george leave sgh.let merder live happily ever after! Oh,didn't shonda said she was going to give us a happy ending for merder? Hmm..cant wait for next episode..

The info about the next episode says Izzie is planning MerDer's wedding, but I think Mer will give away the wedding to Iz since she has probably planned the most perfect wedding and she thinks Izzie should have it herself for her and Alex.

If it can't be a MerDer wedding, then I am hoping for Kristen's dream sequence idea-- and the dream is Izzie and Denny. Only Izzie doesn't die. Her best friends are calling her from here and she comes back. That's my best case scenario here. I think the dream idea makes the most sense, given what Shonda said about dream a little dream of me and that she called it a joyous occasion.
This also makes me think it's a dream...
Ellen Pompeo says: "There's a wedding ... There's a setting that's a wedding, that's all I can say right now. I can't say who gets married. We're still working on the episode."

My guess is IZZIE AND DENNY. I think Izzie dies. Katie Heigl has spent way too much time spouting off about how she's too good for the show and something tells me they'll ax her. This way, she'll die and be reunited in either a dream-sequence or afterlife sequence with Denny in a marriage ceremony.
The oddest scenario would actually be Callie with the perky Arizona, given that Callie's dad is scheduled to come back to the show and she's supposedly going to out herself to her family. Shonda and Besty were both going on about how Callie needs a little happy in their last podcast, so that would be one weird way to go, although another gunshot wedding for Callie doesn't make any sense to me.
Then again, when did ANYTHING this season actually make sense?

I really want it to be an Alex and Izzie wedding. I have been pulling for them since the very beginning. Alex has changed so much recently and I love the depth it has added to his character. I'm also thinking that the wedding could be a dream and have something to do with Denny. In the season 5 premiere, Izzie walks out of the elevator, sees Denny, and he says "You look better than a bride." So since Shonda said all you need to know about this season was hinted in "Dream a Little Dream of Me" i'm thinking the bride comment means Izzie's getting married or she'll marry Denny in a dream and walk off into the light. Who knows?!

My guess, MerDer are supposed to be married (hence, takes place on their wedding day) but Izzie dies before the ceremony so it is postponed for some length of time. Probably til season 6, which would kill me with suspense. Perfect way for Shonda to torture us for an extended period of time much longer then the 3 weeks between every 2 or 3 episodes.

I think that MerDer will set a date.. I remember the episode when Cris almost get married, Mer tells her that she must do it because it means that she can do it "I need this."
So.. will this still have some effect on her?
I'm guessing there is no MerDer wedding until Izzie is ok... or not. Mer really care about her friends, is like family to her, so she won't get married until Izzie has either her happy or unhappy ending.

I totally agree, with the dream scenerio, I thnk Meredith will be dreaming about her wedding to Derek, and somehow it turns weird. Like the flower girl looking like or being her daughter or the the ring boy being their son she overreacts and wakes up. This rings in the pregnancy "union" for the season finale. I also think Izzie and Alex will get married pry on the 100th episode
