Mekhi Phifer Confirms Series Regular Status on Lie to Me

Mekhi Phifer isn't just joining Lie to Me for a few episodes, beginning May 6.

The actor has confirmed to E! Online that his character of Ben Reynolds will be sticking around for the foreseeable future.

"I'm going to be a series regular," Phifer said earlier this week. "I'm one of the leads on the show. I'm on my second episode right now. I'm an FBI agent, so I get to kick ass and take names and shoot people. I'm having a great time."

The former ER doctor also teased Lie to Me's season finale: "Expect a lot of explosions and deaths."
