Two and a Half Men Season Three Quotes

During the third season of Two and a Half Men quite a lot happened. Alan ended up dating Charlie's beautiful ex-girlfriend, Kandi, and even marrying her by the end of the season.

Meanwhile, super bachelor Charlie ended up proposing to the beautiful Mia, only to back out when she wanted Alan and Jake to moveout.

Oh plus such hilarious things as Berta crashing at the guys' place for a bit, Rose trying to turn her boyfriend into Charlie 2, and Jake attending his first boy-girl party.

The season and its ridiculous set-ups of course led to some hilarious Two and a Half Men quotes.  Here's some of our favorites:

Charlie: Oh, for the good old days when you could pretend you were blind and wander into the girls' locker room.
Alan: You actually did that? That's terrible.
Charlie: No, taking the dog from the blind guy was terrible. | permalink
Alan: You mind looking after Jake while I'm gone?
Charlie: If it will help you get outta here, I'd breast feed him for you | permalink

Charlie, Alan and Jake Promo Shot

Sandy: Who has room for another eclair?
Alan: Not unless I unbutton my pants.
Charlie: My pants are already unbuttoned.
Jake: I took mine off when she brought the marshmallow yams | permalink
Alan: Sorry I'm late, Kandi and I had morning sex.
Charlie: Good for you.
Alan: Twice.
Charlie: Congratulations.
Alan: She didn't even wake me up for the first one. I almost missed it.
Charlie: Well I've always said a 22-year-old girl is like a good carpenter, no wood gets wasted | permalink
Judith [on Jake's lack of hobbies]: I don't know about his father, but I've tried to share some of my interests with him.
Alan: Unfortunately, he's a little young to drink in the dark and bitch about men | permalink
Charlie: By the way, did you have the talk with him?
Alan: Well sure, I mean, well we've had a talk, you know, covered the basics. He knows where babies come from and how they got there.
Charlie: That's all? He's going to this party completely clueless about how much fun he can have between "Hi, how are you" and "What do you mean you missed your period. | permalink

Parks and Recreation Recap: "The Reporter"

Just three episodes into its abbreviated freshman season, Parks and Recreation is already halfway through - only three remain. Fortunately, it's starting to come into its own.

Supplementing an NBC comedy lineup that already boasts The Office and 30 Rock, Parks and Rec premiered with high expectations that it looks like it may be able to meet.

Last night, Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope faced a tough interview, the fate of her beloved park hanging in the balance. Until the reporter was caught doing the walk of shame.

The Office Recap: "Broke"

It had a tremendous run, but at some point, you knew that the rich, storied business legacy of The Michael Scott Paper Company had to come to an end.

The only question was whether it would flame out in epic fashion, or whether Michael could, somehow, wrap things up in a face- and job-saving fashion.

In the end, this was one of those rare times when the enigmatic, incomparable Michael Scott proved that he is not an imbecile. At least all the time.

30 Rock Recap: "The Ones"

When TV's funniest show concluded another stellar half-hour last night, all we could do was sit back, reflect on some of the hilarious 30 Rock quotes we'd just heard, and think:

What the frak, indeed!

Follow the link for a recap of last night's 30 Rock, in which Salma Hayek guest starred and Liz Lemon looks downright hot in a slanket. All that and more comprised "The Ones."

Lost Creator J.J. Abrams Discusses Spoilers

This article contains absolutely no Lost spoilers!  This is actually Lost creator J.J. Abrams discussing his opinion on Lost spoilers.

As the guest editor of Wird, J.J. wrote the following in his article about Mystery:

People often ask me how "Lost" is going to end. I usually tell them to ask Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, who run that series. But I always wonder, do they really want to know? And what if I did tell them? They might have an aha moment, but without context. Especially since the final episode is a year away. That is to say, the experience—the setup for a joke's punch line, the buildup to a magic trick's big flourish—is as much of a thrill as the result. There's discovery to be made and wonder to be had on the journey that not only enrich the ending but in many ways define it

J.J. Abrams

Abrams then goes more into the actual specifics of spoilers:

But the real damage isn't so much that the secret gets out. It's that the experience is destroyed. The illusion is diminished. Which may not matter to some. But then what's the point of actually seeing that movie or episode? How does knowing the twist before you walk into the theater—or what that island is really about before you watch the finale—make for a richer viewing experience? It's telling that the very term itself—spoiler—has become synonymous with "cool info you can get before the other guy." What no one remembers is that it literally means "to damage irreparably; to ruin." Spoilers make no bones about destroying the intended experience—and somehow that has become, for many, the preferred choice.'

Don't worry, we have every intention of continuing to spoil Lost for those of you who want it.  We know we sure do.  Those of you who don't, we always try to keep our headlines spoiler-free and label asspoilers accordingly.

Kaley Cuoco Nixed From Grey's Anatomy Guest Role

Last week, it was reported that the beautiful Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory was taking on a role as a guest star on the Grey's Anatomy Season 5 finale May 14.

However, just as soon as Cuoco's guest role was announced, she suddenly rescinded the chance to appear on the medical drama. Why the strange, abrupt bailing?

EW reports that the actress' rep claims a "publicity commitment" forced the star to back out of a top-secret appearance on Grey's Anatomy. But multiple sources say it was her Big Bang employer, CBS, that nixed the deal - clandestinely or otherwise.

CBS couldn't be reached for comment, but an insider explains, "They didn't want one of their biggest stars appearing on one of ABC's biggest shows." Makes sense.

As a result, Grey's Anatomy has instead tapped former OC starlet Shannon Lucio to fill Cuoco's shoes. Still unknown is who the character will be exactly.

Private Practice Recap: "What You Do For Love"

Like it's lead-in and sister series Grey's Anatomy, ABC's hit Private Practice returned from a lengthy hiatus last night and did not disappoint its growing legion of fans.

Pete made the decision to go for broke and dump Lisa (Idina Menzel, wife of Taye Diggs, below), for an uncertain future with Violet. Sheldon also proposed to Violet.

Neither knows who the father is. Still.

Elsewhere, Naomi is wooed away from Oceanside, Dell is mopey when he can't find his daughter, and Addison's conflicted chemistry with Noah continues to fester.

Fringe Star, Producer Ponder Olivia's Secret Power

On this week's episode of Fringe, the series left viewers with a video of young Olivia in a burnt-out room, following one of William Bell and Walter Bishop's Cortexiphan experiments.

Does this mean her ability is to start fires?

"I think it's more than that," star Anna Torv said in a recent interview. "I think for Olivia it's more than that, and I say that only because there's an episode coming up where we meet another subject, and I think it's more than that. I think what they got given or what they got taught is much bigger than just starting fire."

Meanwhile, executive producer Jeff Pinkner also offered more hints about Olivia's secret power.

"We saw the consequence. We saw that she started a fire at the end of the last episode, but I think it's a mistake to assume that that's her power. I think the truth is, it's probably a consequence of her ability."

Finally, Torv spoke on her upcoming scenes with guest star Leonard Nimoy, saying they're calm yet threatening.

"That's what's kind of cool about working on Fringe is everything seems kind of calm and lovely, but there's always something going on underneath. Where she meets him is the cooler question, but I'm not saying any more."

Darn it. Why not?!?
