Ratings Report: An Improvement for House

by at . Comments

Billed as a game-changing episode by Fox, House placed second during the 8 p.m. hour last night, as 13 million viewers watched the team react to Kutner's shocking suicide.

In first place, of course, was Dancing with the Stars. It averaged 19.6 million total viewers over its 90-minute airing. That's a 630,000 dip from last week.

A Simple Explanation

Among other primetime pickings:

  • ABC's Bob Saget sitcom, Surviving Suburbia, debuted to a solid 12.16 million viewers.
  • Heroes continued to redefine its all-time low ratings (6.05 million).
  • Castle scored 9.24 million viewers, down 560,000 from a week ago.
