"Sweet Surrender" Sneak Preview

by at . Comments

Below is a sneak preview of "Sweet Surrender," the next new episode of Grey's Anatomy.

The scene is Izzie Stevens' bedside, and there's a lot going on there. She's got friends, people bringing her favorite food, and Meredith modeling wedding dresses for her.

It's all good, except for her ongoing medical crises. It's one thing after another. Poor girl.

The episode airs Thursday, April 23. Check out the clip and tell us what you think!

Dude, it's freakin' WeddingLand in there:)) And Lexie is a bridesmaid, that's why she's there

Mcdreamy is mine

Ok, Izzie so faked that to see the dress. That was really funny.

Izzie is faking. faking, faking, faking.

She's clearly faking. Isn't she?

"I feel like this dress is giving me a mammogram. It's squishing my boobs" HAHA hilarious!

when you choke I dont think you can take such a big breath inward like Izzie does. Its not the typical choking reaction. also, can we see Alex naked???? i think he's super delicious.

Wow! Pregnancy agrees well with Chyler Leigh (Lexie). She looks positively glowing! The slight weight gain looks great on her too.

I don’t know, it looked pretty serious with her eyes rolling back. I hope she doesn’t die, Izzie’s my favourite

I kinda don't care if it's fake or not, because my bet is that it will work out the same way whether or not she is actually choking.
I'm more interested in Alex's reaction to the situation. (I love lexzie

definitely fake, if not KH is going down hill with her acting... you could hear izzie planning it before it happened

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
