I know that an intern year is supposed to be only a year long, it's just that the show runs into some other chronological issues if you follow that timeline. And, it wouldn't have even been quite two years since we started if we are going by that timeline. So think about how old Bailey's baby is...
I'm sure you can tell I've spent time thinking about this. I know- it is pointless.
I've come to the conclusion that its just Shondaland, and time does its own thing there.
Anyways, my point stands. Even if it has only been 2 years, that just means that Mark and Lexie have had proportionately less time.
Btw, I love your screen name humbug, it's very cute :)

yeah i definitely agree with everyone who thinks that Izzie is just faking the fact that she is choking just so that Mer will come out of the bathroom so that Izzie can see her dress.
Or at least i hope thats what happens, ill be really sad if izzies condition worsens

Is it just me or did anybody else find Lexie coming in and just eating the french fries a little odd? I know they said they weren't going to make her pregnant on the show but...? maybe?

I love Alex! All I can say is that if they're gonna do all of this to Izzie, we better get some good Lexzie stuff out of it!
I have to say though, I am a bit disappointed we aren't getting our Merder wedding this season. I just hope that its Lexzie. I feel like it would be a little silly to get Sloan and Lexie married already, after all, just about every other couple on the show has had almost 5 years of drama, and they've had less than one.

I agree with McCynic, the george whining is getting old. And, i hadn't thought about it but this is about MEREDITH, you're right! So, it's ok for him to not be in the scene!

OMG ENOUGH with the George whining already. Seriously! This scene is not about Izzie, it's about MEREDITH. Why would George be there to watch Meredith try on wedding dresses? It would make sense that Lexie is there because she is Meredith's SISTER. Honestly, people. I appreciate that it bothers you, and upsets you that he's not on the show, but every little part of the show that does not have George in it does not have to become a George issue. It's getting annoying.
And I agree - Izzie is totally faking it. Which is funny, and I look forward to her immediate reaction to the dress after the fact.

I think she's faking to get Meredith to come out of the bathroom. Otherwise that would have been really fortunate timing haha. I love Meredith though "I feel like this dress is giving me a mammogram!" *Sigh* I miss new Grey's....I cant believe we still have to go through one more Thursday until Sweet Surrender!!!

I also believe that izzie is faking it to see the dress....but think about what we r all going to feel lik when we found out she wasn't faking it after all....we r gonna feel lik crap....

Why is Shonda destroying the Gizzie friendship? There is no way George would keep ignoring Izzie. It isn't bad enough she is killing George. She is also trying to destroy him in the process.

Well of course George is not there. He and Izzie are not best friends anymore. It seems even Lexie is closer to Izzie than George now.
Who cares that everyone is missing the Gizzie friendship? Shonda wants us to forget they were even friends.
Didn't you guys get the memo? George is unimportant. Lexie is the new George. Lexie is a member of the fab 5 now, not George.
The world would explode if they actually showed Izzie missing George, the guy who was her person for 4 seasons.

The mammogram thing was sooooo funnny!!!! But I also think izzie is faking it to see mer's dress. You can totally tell by the way izzie looks right before she starts to choke, like she's thinking of a way to get mer to show her the dress.
