Will Big Bang Theory's Penny and Sheldon Hook Up?
We absolutely love any screen time shared between Penny and Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory. The dynamic of these two's friendship is amazing.
However, for some twisted reason, some fans want to see them take it to the next level. Recently, series creator Bill Prady put and end to this theory to Ausiello Files.
Bill said: "I will say this: In our season two opener, Sheldon was kind of shocked when Penny casually acknowledged that the two of them were friends."
Prady goes on to dispel the idea by saying, "I think just for Sheldon and Penny to have what she will acknowledge as a friendship is remarkable progress for him. She may be the only friend he's made in a while, so I think everyone's going to have to call that progress. Hoping for more may be way beyond possibility."
I would stop holding out hope, especially since Prady hinted that there will be a huge advance in Leonard and Penny's relationship in the season's last two episodes.

Penny learns by being Leonard how to be with a nerdy guy like him
Sheldon learns by being with Amy how to be in a relationship baby steps at a time.
In the end, it's like a preparation on how Penny and Sheldon can be together but I think that would be the finale of the entire series lol.
Just a thought.

sheldon and penny scenes have the most chemistry and ppl love to see them togther. eventually they might hook up and that will be something to look forward on.

penny and leonard is too much expected and much like any other sitcom will promise,but what's exciting is the fact the two extremes like penny and sheldon will come together some fine day. it'll be so much more intriguing...

I completely agree with Strellasmith. The episodes leading up to the finalee, should see Sheldon and Penny's relationship grow and blossom...Penny and Lenerd needs to go! and I agree, if the producers want super ratings....this is the way to go, and if they had any brains at all, they would listen to us!!!

Why can't the writers see that all the show's chemistry is centered around Penny and Sheldon? To allow them to advance from friendship to romance very slowly and carefully would probably send the show's ratings through the roof! Of course I wouldn't want them to engage in a full-fledged romance immediately; but to allow undercurrents of attraction to creep into their friendship wouldn't spoil the hilarious relationship they have now. The way I see it, it would only enhance it.
