First Look: Leonard Nimoy on Fringe

at . Comments

As previously reported, Leonard Nimoy is set to guest star on the Fringe season finale. He'll take on the important role of William Bell.

Below, we've got a look at the Star Trek actor in character. But first, let's hear what executive producer Jeff Pinkner has to say about Nimoy and about Bell's relationship with Walter Bishop:

“He [Nimoy] plays William in a way that’s kind of unexpected,” Pinkner said at last week’s Paley Festival Panel. “And you go, ‘Oh my God, I now see why these two men were simpatico, were like minded, even though one went into an insane asylum and one went on to be one of the richest men in America.’ Maybe there’s something to that."

The Fringe season finale airs on May 12.

Fringe Quotes

Nature doesn't recognize good and evil Philip. Nature only recognizes balance and imbalance. I intend to restore balance to our world. Whatever it takes.

Walternate

Elizabeth: Sometimes what we have is not the world we want, but we have our hearts and our imaginations to make the best of it. I will promise you this: I will be the best mother I possibly can be to you. I'll take care of you, I will protect you and I will never let anyone take you away from me. No one. Not ever.
Peter: But you're not her, are you? You're not my real mother.
Elizabeth: You were sick. You were very sick for a long, long time and I think it confused you. Yes, I am your mother, of course I am.
