that was a phenomonal season finale. everything we want from a finale. but oh my god, i did not see that coming. i think i'm coming off shock, because here i am an hour after the show and starting to cry.

Thought the finale was very intense. Really hope George and Izzie pull through for next season. Can NOT wait for next season!!!!!!

Hyper vent a late ing! I can see the show going any way with both dieing both living or just one, But I did thought Izzy would step out and see Alex and denny ansd she would choose, George in uniform made me go AHHHHH NOOOO! At the last moment they show the guys giving Izzie one last hit then the camra shows her andshe stops smiling, so does George, I'm thinking at that point they know something is up, either she'll get pulled back and he steps inside and joins her ( cuz he too is getting worked on at the same time don't forget) or it passes and she steps out. I think everyone above is right with having Izzie living, I don't think the writers would do that to Alex after his past crazy girlfriend, He would turn into a complete jerk for a while if she dies, cuz nothing goes right for him, Plus the whole chief poo pooing on the dnr would be pointless. George may die BUT Here's my hope, they show that girl he saves partly so we know the case well but I found i wasn't hating her were it t

Loved the season finale, did not expect the george thing...i did expect last scene to be izzie flatline for like 3 weeks now, but george OMG....
but its not a for sure thing that they both die... cuz at the end you see izzie moving eyes and then owen or derek say WE ARE LOOSING HIM...so its not for sure thing that he died, neither....;
loved it!!!
i hope they both dont die, izzie cuz she is awesome she is a great person, although bad things happen to good people, but even so, she give hope and live to the show...and this would crush karev, it will kill him, see how he was acting?? and george he finally was getting done what he wanted to do!! he has a purpose now! everyone loves george, no one wanted him to leave!!!

I noticed that elevator sence ware Izzie is standing on the Elevator and George out of it standing their looking at her that he when i tired up I don't think George is gone or Izzie I think Izzie will pull through and I don't know about George I did not even get that was George either until he did the 007 thing then i releived it was him How heart breaking to see George like that and Izzie had her memory after while and Alex losing it I really Didn't think that this season Finally was that good. Although George totaly freaked me out but i think Izzie is going to live she can't leave Alex

I don't think we know for sure if either is dead. They're in that near-death limbo like Mer and her mom after she almost drowned.

OMG unbelievable!! I so did not know that was George until the 007 thing... and they can't both die, that would be just too weird - two residents dying on the same day? Nooo. That kind of plot twist is just too far-fetched!
I agree that if the two of them leave the show things will go downhill fast, although George barely got any story lines this season. Arizona is cool and all but she's kind of annoying, and the person above who said Lexi and Sloane don't have chemistry is right... what is going on with this show?

What a twist.....when they had him on the table and everyone was talking about whether or not they'd risk their live's for a perfect stranger.....then someone said, "I'd like to think I would but I probably wouldn't"....and it was George all along....the knight in shining armour!!! @greysfan2: according to my sister, there was a time when some of George´s patients died on him so they named him 007 "license to kill"

When Meredith said "double O seven" I got the chills. I didn't see that one coming, I was in shock, I still am. God, that was the worst and best season finale ever. :(

I feel like my heart is being ripped out of my chest For killing off George and i really think that Izzie will have a chance to live she can't leave Alex yet they are made for each other. and they just got married so they must bring her back now i have to wait i don't think i can handle this she better come back. I can could not handle they way George looked i could not believe that was George It just takes my breath away So they better keep Izzie on the show

wait, some people r saying that both george AND izzie died, but i actually thought that we know george is dead but we dont know about izzie yet. i completely agree with drummergirls prediction, i think that george is already dead and that izzie's gonna some how pull through

The Merder wedding was cute BUT they need to make it legal at some point next season. My only solace about this cliffhanger is that we'll know who's gone for good in a couple of days when abc releases the names of the all the character on the show next season.
