The episode was meh. Alex and Izzie sstill don't do it for me.
The one part I liked was George walking Izzie down the aisle. Sweetest moment ever. I'll always love those two.
And next week, Izzie resting her head on George.
Man are the MerDer fans pissed. Not blaming them at all!

Clearly I was disappointed at first that it didn't turn out to be Meredith and Derek's wedding. BUT.....I see it as a selfless act from the couple to let Izzie and Alex get married. As someone mentioned..it is about the entire cast and not just one couple (Mer and Der). So I feel good about it. Now..here's hoping Mer and Der will get married soon...in the season finale perhaps? Great episode!

Now I am glad for the AI fans they got their wish because they are very loyal fans, but I will never ship AI.
I am very glad george walked her down the aisle though.
After all, I am a Gizzie friendshipper too, and that was their friendship at its best.
George was a-amazing tonight. TR rocked!

I really hope that Izzie doesn't die, but I think she will. However, I am taking her advice and believing that we survive. She believed that Meredith would survive while Meredith was dead, so I suppose the least I can do is the same for her.
I think I may have an unhealthy attachment to this character - I think that I relate to her way too much and if she dies... well, that day is gonna suck.
However, I believe in the good (yes, that is from the same speech) so I am going to believe that it is going to be okay, and that we will finally get to see not only an amazing Lexzie wedding, and a marriage.
I'm sure you can tell that I'm not really sure what to think right now. All I know is that that episode was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it and hated it (mostly loved it!!). What

Amazing episode. I was crying from the beginning. Izzie looked beautiful in her dress. I hope she lives, I really do. I cried even harder when George got up to help her down the aisle. Just amazing.

Love the wedding and Alexs vows so sweet and Izzie looked amazing in her dress I was crying at the wedding part so sweet and they will last a life time together. I just don't like the part for next week episode ware mer scream i hope that is not for Izzie i pray to god that she lives now that her and Alex got married now she needs to fight for life and take that surgery that might save her life I love how she told Denny now go away I want to be alone with my Husband that was so good. and the look on his face like he was shocked I can't wait for next week season finally Hope Izzie does not die that would be very sad cause her and Alex just got married So please don't die

I'm not going to go with the "best episode ever" because it wasn't (seriously, Grey's had better episodes), although it was really good. I'll admit that the wedding even moved me but I wasn't that excited at the end of the episode. Probably because I'm not an Izzie fan.

it was so good !!! very moving. i'm a downloader of grey's so it's always weird to watch it with commercials, but the wedding was beautiful and the owencristina tension was really good too. wow nice work shonda.

This episode was... unbelievably amazing.
MerDer- I really wanted them to get married but if mcsex tonight means mcbaby next season then I'll be mcfreaking happy.
George-George tried. He gave it his all. He failed beutifully :) Nice to see him getting air time :)The Gizzie Scene was my favorite :)! I yelled at my tv for him to get up and walk his best friend down the isle.
The Chief and Mark- Hillarious during Mer's surgery :)
Alex and Izzie-I LOVED alex's vows. so so beautiful. and Izzie looked Amazing. and they were perfect at the end. ahh maybe I am happy with them after all.
Christina and Owen- Not too many scenes but at least we can see they are both totally in it.
Callie&&Arizona- I could not figure out to save my life what was going on with Callie. I yelled seriously?! when she told Arizona that mabe they were over. It wrapped itslef up for me at the end though :) My second and third favorite scene were their last two :D
Can't wait for next week but

UNBELIEVABLE writing....EVERYONE was excellent---Storyline tied it all together----not 1 thing wrong...and it was Izzie's wedding--- Not what Mer/Der wanted---and How Mer has GROWN--just love her and that she and Der r in sync w/1 another...Hope they finally get married next week on the mountain where they want to build a house---just the 2 of them and a justice -of -the- peace !!!!!!!!!

I thought it was awesome, MerDer will always be my favorite. It was pitched as MerDer's wedding day which it was technically. I still haven't given up hope on them though. The ABC board is sounding off pretty harsh right now about how terrible tonight was. I guess I wasn't watching the same show.

I'm getting all of them for my birthday which is at the beginning of June so I'll be having a blast watching them over and over and over, can't wait! Oh and I LOVED how Derek gave Meredith a solo surgery as a wedding gift! How adorable! At the end, were Meredith and Derek at the same place they first slept together in the first episode?

Best episode yet this season I think. Loved George walking Izzie down the aisle, Meredith and Alex's friendship, Meredith and Derek at the end, Alex's vows, the trauma case, Bailey and Derek helping Izzie, everything. I cried before, during, and after the wedding! Can't wait to see what happens next week, so sad it's almost over. What are we going to do all summer?
