I think Izzie will live and i don't know about George but all i can tell is that if anything happens to Izzie then George will be heart broken and same with George I love their Friend ship its great and we need to see more of that next season I hate Mer/Derek. I love Izzie and Alex and you can tell that Alex really loves Izzie and they make a great couple But i think that he foucuss to much on mar and Derek some times and less on the rest of the cast. But i think that everybody is going to stay on the show and Izzie is going to live

and if the girl dies then Izzie will change her mind about the surgery because there is another promo of Izzie when she wakes up Meredith is asking her is she knows who Alex Karev is and Izzie has a blank expression on her face. Possibly due to the fact she has just woke up from surgery but you never know.

I miss the fab 5. They were must-see TV for me.
Now without George, they're kind of blah.

Sofi, I'm the opposite. I totally hate Alex and Izzie as a couple and as anything.
I adore George and Izzie. They were magic. You say you like their friendship but Shonda the fool killed that too.
I know, it's the fab 4 lately. It feels wrong, like something is missing.
George brought so much heart to that group and they don't have the same magic without him.
They did everything posssible with Izzie.
George, there's so much they could do. Have him become a great doctor, maybe a teacher to the interns. Have him find a love that lasts. Become a dad.
Have him find himself.
There so much potential left untapped.
I can survive without Izzie, not without George.

I know that the Izzie storyline has been front and center recently, but I think that the majority of characters have gotten great material from it. Alex has been great, we have gotten great and insightful scenes from Izzie/Cristina, Alex/Mer, Bailey/Izzie, Bailey/Derek, Alex/George and Izzie/Mer/Derek. So while the story may be "about" Izzie, it is certainly bringing personal issues that may have nothing to do with Izzie for many, many characters. That usually doesn't happen with normal romantic couple storylines.

Geaorge will be MIA, that way it'll be left open and we'll all have to tune in season 6 to find out what happens to him. Keep watching those spoiler/ gossip sites to see if TR's contract is renewed

We've had to get used to George's very low profile this season, I didn't even notice him when they were tasting the chicken.I know Mer/Cris/Alex were there with Iz.
I agree the storyline for Iz has been all engulfing, and if Kate gets nominated for awards and Ellen is overlooked again, I'll think it'll be a travesty.
I wouldn't be surprised if George is written out and they kill the character off completely. I hope George will be a wedding guest at the MerDer wedding before he departs. There's more mileage in Iz storyline if she survives and forgets she's married to Alex. She probably remember Alex as he was in the first series, forget all her training so she'll have to redo her residency.

i think george is definitely leaving the show - you notice how it's only ever meredith, cristina, izzie and alex together now? even at the wedding, george might have helped her down the aisle but in the popular screen cap of the alter, he's not there. i think they're setting us up so we're used to it being just the four of them (i dont think izzie's gonna die).

When I saw the preview of Der yelling about the cancer killing Iz I just knew who he'd be yelling at. I think he'll always have disagreements with X, but...

I am a huge Katherine Heigl fan - I think she is amazing, but the whole Denny thing was definitely dragged out far too long. That said Izzie's battle with cancer has been fantastic and the last few episodes some of the best Grey's has dished up in a very long time.

What annoys me most is listening to MerDer fans constantly whining. They are never happy. In fact their complaints are almost turning me (and many others) off the characters completely.
Grey's has been way better recently thanks to the Izzie storyline and the Cristina / Owen relationship. If Katherine Heigl does leave the show it will leave a huge gap. I just don't know if I will be able to watch any more.

If there's Crystal's option no.2 it would be interesting to see Alex trying to make her fall in love with him all over again. With the additional drama, of course, in case she only remembers parts of it like for example when he used to be a jerk to her.:P

It's funny how everyone says "Stevens Anatomy" Look at this site! It's Katherine Heigl all over the place.. lol.
Derek would be upset over Izzie's death, but he knew he did a great job trying to save her so it wouldn't make him go back out in the woods or anything.
If she lives with no memory she could just stay at the house with everyone (and stay on the show) and they could keep trying to help her remember and then magically (and oh so dramatically) she starts to remember.

I personally think the whole "izzie's anatomy" thing wouldn't be so bad if they would've had less denny this season. they kind of went overboard with it.
I see a few options with Izzie:
1. She dies
2. She lives, but with no memory
3. She lives, with her memory
Lets break those options down and why they do/don't work.
1. If she dies, that'll affect a big part of the cast. Alex will not be the same, and if you thought Derek was depressed before, what would happen if he killed off Izzie also? For this reason, I believe she won't die.
2. If she lives with no memory, this leaves the option open for all the drama, her possibly leaving the show and making guest appearances, or possibly taking a temporary leave for the show, and then coming back after she gets her memory.
3. She lives with her memory intact, everything is fine and dandy and everyone can go on being merry again. She'll be sunshines and rainbows in the next season and there will be room for other storylines.

OMG, I'm going to miss Grey's sooo much during the off season. I hope no one dies but if they do, I will still watch. It won't be the same, but I'll watch because I love this show. I even got my husband into it and he's even shed a tear or two lol...anyway lets hope for an awesome finale, which I'm sure it will be, and an even better 6th season with all the original fab 5!

If they make Izzy live, next season better not be all about hergetti g her memmory back. I love Izzy and all, but isn't the show called GREYS anatomy for a reason. It's suppose to be about Mer and all were seeing is Izzy and her problem. I would rather them just kill her off...I want more Mer/Lexie scenes. This whole Denny/Cancer/all about Izzy crap is driving me insane. I hope season 6 starts off with like, derek and mer getting back from the honemoon and every e is there at the airport to piick them up. I also want to c derek sisters that would be awesome!!!!

These are pretty good previews for the finale! I kind of agree that since Elevator love letter it has been really focused on Izzie and her condition but it got me to really love Izzie and her persona. I do think there needs to be balance among the characters and scenarios instead of one huge scenario and they have got to be good. I can tolerate the couples this season, but it doesn't really matter to me about who gets together and who breaks up except 3
Alex/Izzie-so cute!!!! Don't want Izzie 2 die!
George/Izzie-Hated this pairing sooooooo much. They are better off as friends
Mer/Der-central couple!

I hope both my George and Izzie live. They are my two favorites, and I can't wait to see their scenes from the promo.
I'm a big Gizzie fan. I'll take them anyway I can get them.
I'm not a big Mexie fan, but I don't hate them as much as some do.

As a George fan, I can tell you I'm not a fan at all of this seaon.
I missed him so much.
I miss his scenes with Izzie too. They always made me smile.
