Ok, all I have to say is I'm hating that it is turning into Steven's Anatomy. I used to like Izzie a lot. But now I don't as much. It started last season that I started not liking her. That's not me saying that I want her to die, but she needs a little less screentime.

Izzy needs to die. If not I will get on the writting cast of Grey's Anatomy and have her beat the cancer and then get run over by a abulence and die. Pick one please and thank you :D

bonnie- if George was the character you watch for i feel bad for you- you must have been bored this year-he was barely in any scenes!
at this rate i dont see the point in him staying around if he isnt going to get any air time. im a huge fan of his friendship with izzie and i missed it this year a lot.
im hoping both he and izzie stay and get more scenes together.

I'm not watching without George.
I'm not angry at Shonda. I don't blame her. George is the character I watch for, so I am not watching without him.
That's it.

Yeah, Samantha 16 is totaly right. we have no idea what is going through Shonda's and TR's head. And we may just have to wait until next season to see what happens to everybody. And I am ok with that because that is what made the show GREAT. The cliffhangers kept people watching. That is what good writers do and that is why this show is still alive.
Where is the sneak peek of Mer asking Izzie if she knows who Alex is?

I don't know what is going on, but I do know she treated the character of George awfully. I know there are thousand of ways he can leave without dying.
I might forgive Shonda if George stayed alive, but I won't forgive her if she kills him, and I won't watch without him.
i don't mean to be rude, but you people have no idea what is going through the actors and writers minds. it could be simple he wants to leave, you can't believe everything you read in tablods or on the internet. about 85% of it is rumors. or it could be they had a fight like you guys think but you know. i'm certainly not going to stop watching the show just because someone who doesn't want to be on it is leaving. the writing and the storylines is what i fell in love with first and the show is turning into to much of "Steven's Anatomy" like the rest of you said. I want to see the heat and humor that was in the first season again.

I disagree. If a character leaves, you might stop giving him stories, but he still should have had scenes with Izzie, his best friend, and with others.
They killed his friendship with Izzie for no reason.
There's a big difference between giving someone a big story and letting him be a part of the show.
They cut him off completely from the fab 5.
That made no sense.
That Izzie story wasn't half as powerful as it could have been because Izzie's person and best friend George wasn't involved at all.
Him leaving doesn't mean he can't have contact with anyone for the entire season. It certainly doesn't mean he should die too.
They did such a good job at making it seem nobody cares about him anymore that if he does die, it's going to lose all impact.
Those people have ignored him all season. Now we are suppose to believe his detah will impact them in any way?
Usually when a show is going to kill someone, they show tons of him and show how much he means to everyone s

I agree. Characters elave all the time without being killed off.
I also guess you haven't read all the articles saying that TR was frustrated about his lack of storylines and that's why he wanted to leave.
So no, it is not his choice. It's all on Shonda.
I'm so angry right now. I HATE SHONDA AND THIS STUPID SHOW!

All the rumoprs have said TR wants to quit because he has no stories. Shonda hasn't cut his stories because he wants to leave. He wants to leave because he has no story.
There's also absolutely no reason to kill him off. If he wants to leave, make him go to the army but let him live.
That way he can come back if he changes his mind.
Killing him makes it final.
And PULEASE, tons of shows have given big stories to actors who had quit until their evry last day.
Look at 90210. Ethan is leaving but he still has stories.
Soaps tend to give bigger story to an actor who is leaving, not less.
Plus George hasn't had a story ALL season long. I really doubt he decided first day of the new season to quit.
Shonda hates him. That's why she wants to kill George so he can never come back, and I'll never watch anything Shonda is involved in again.
Writing him out might be TR's choice, but killing George is a whole other ballgame.

we actually don't know what's going on between Shonda and the actors. there have been rumors for a very long time that both Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight want to quit the show.
So maybe if George goes to war/gets killed off, it's not because Shonda hates him, as many people suggest, but because T.R. Knight wants to be out of Grey's. If it was decided some time ago that he will quit after this season, I think it's quite reasonable not to give him major storylines so that the fans don't get more attached to the character who's going to leave.
Don't get me wrong, I like George a lot and I think Grey's will not be the same without him. But if the actor himself doesn't want to play in the show, then i see no reason in developing his role further. By not giving George a lot of attention this season, maybe the writers tried to avoid what happened with Burke- too sudden departure at the peak of the character's role in the show (the wedding).
I think that's why her role is so big right now. But I hope not

I'm sick and tired of Izzie's anatomy. Katie whines and gets a big story and TR doesn't do a thing and gets relegated to ghost land.
I wish George ahd some of that airtime.
Watch as Izzie lives and my sweet George dies.
If that happens, it's bye Grey for me.

No matter how much I hate to admit it, I think grfndr is right. The losing the memory part may be an out for Izzie. Her oncologist said something like "she may not even be able to practice medicine anymore". If that's the case, then it's a way to write her off Grey's while leaving an opportunity for a guest spot some day. Leaving medicine could be a way for her to leave SGH to pursue other things.

No, no Steven's Anatomy please. All sneak peeks about Izzie?
I found Alex's and Derek's convo (what if it was Meredith?) heartbreaking. My guess is this is why Derek's so angry about convincing Izzie not to do the surgery. Although Mer has a point.
And yep, she does have the surgery, otherwise Mer wouldn't be asking who Alex is. I really hope that she does have temporary amnesia just to make it a little more believable since Izzie had only 5% chance to live. This could also bring great dynamics between MerDer and the fab 5.
Sounds mean but at least I'd buy more of this storyline...
