Watched the first episode again and it doesn't sound like Meredith, you know. And she doesn't say "Oh God!" she just shouts "No" and Derek's name. I had someone who doesn't watch the show listen to both voices and he said it didn't seem to be the same voice.
But we could still be wrong...

My guess, George is the one that goes IF anyone does. Izzie might lose her memory and that will be the very end of the finale...and we will have to wait until september....OR we don't even know if she loses her memory they just leave us hanging. I CANT WAIT the suspense is absolutely killing me

They better NOT kill George. He nis my favorite character. If thta happens, I'm officially done with the show.
I'd rather Izzie die. They have done everything they could with her. There's still so much for George to do. Plus I love George way more than Izzie.

Seriously, what is the song playing? It's beautiful, almost made me cry- and that's just the promo for heaven's sake... I'm gonna be up in tears probably half way through. And then WHAT are we going to do afterwards???

Okay, we heard a lot of rumors, one of them was the scenario about Izzie keeping alive and George killing off...and I am - bringing the negative vibe in here:) - pretty sure that one of these characters will be killed off. And it's not just because of the images, cause we all know by now how deceptive these promos can be...but *THE MUSIC*. Oooooh. That was one helluva sad song. I think it's going to be tragic, and if I had to guess, I'd say they save Iz and kill off George...because Izzie's long recovery process, then coming back again to work can still be a good storyline...
However, i'm going to miss George very much if he's the one leaving. He was one "our guys" after all...:(
Aaah, wouldn't it be great to bring Burke back? You know, George very hurt, only the best cardio-surgeon could save him..and they call Burke back..aaaaaaaaaaah:))Not very likely though...:(

I watched it on facebook and the quality is really good on that one, it really looked like the chief, but it could be an intern i guess. it doesnt look like burke at all

Looking at it again, we do see George in the promo, holding Izzie. But that's the only time. So if he's the one who is hurt, it happens during the episode.

Okay..I'm going to be really optimistic and think that Mer is saying 'oh god' 'cause Izzie woke up after the major surgery when no one thought she would...fingers crossed! can't waaaait :D

That is so Mer screaming. It's raspy like hers. And I think all these serious, paniced looks from all these characters is because something has happened to George. We ARE going to see somebody important on that gurney on the finale just as we saw Derek on the premiere. We all know Shonda just loves symmetry. I don't think it's Derek because Shonda said that the Merder fans will be happy with the finale.

That's exactly what I thought when I was watching the new preview (we don't know if the Cristina/Owen kiss happens before or after the vent scene for example)!
