there are a lot of reasons that a character would be killed off an episode maybe george or even izzie want to move on to bigger things its a show its not real its all an act shondra isnt really running george over and killing him

OK THE ONLY REASON I KEEP WATCHING THE SHOW IS BECAUSE OF GEORGE... AS YOU CAN OBVIOUSLY SEE NO ONE WANTS GEORGE TO LEAVE.. YOU CAN SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE HATE YOU FOR THIS? Personally, I think its stupid to kill them off. Izzie? George? Why him. The show isnt going to get many viewers. Infact, im not going to want to watch it anymore. George makes the show, and Izzie is the dumb but smart blonde. Its just not going to be the same without them!

Yes it is the WHOLE CAST that makes the show! However the show would not be as good to me if TR or Katherine were to be killed off! Guess we'll just have to see next season :o)

I can't believe last nights finale either! If she kills either one off I will definately not be watching again either. However the writers did a great job of upsetting&pissing me off at the same time! Let's all hope neither gets killed off because that will ruin the show!

That finale WAS cruel! I knew izzie was gonna die (obviously), and I thought I would be bawling- but I wasn't! The only part I cried in was when izzie was inthe elevator (dead) and the door opened and you expect to see denny- BUT YOU SEE GEORG- HES DEAD!!!!! Waaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it was him that got hit :(

That finale WAS cruel! I knew izzie was gonna die (obviously), and I thought I would be bawling- but I wasn't! I am not sure what to think about the season finale. It seemed to drag until the very end, until we get the supprise about George.
I think George's character will be back but TR Knight will not. Remember Ava. I don't know how they are going to handle the voice issue, probably something like his vocal cords were damaged in the accident and he doesn't sound the same as he used to.
I believe Issie's character and Katherine Heigl are history.

I think because there was so much focus on Izzie throughout the entire season she is more likely the one to be let go. It's almost like she was given so much air time so that her loyal viewers could say goodbye.
As for George, it's too sudden! He can't leave the show he's my favorite. If both of them go, the show won't even be worth watching, 2 of our 5 interns will be gone!!
Also I just want to say that the final episode had the wrong information, military wise. With George's schooling and extensive medical knowledge he would be COMMISSIONING as an OFFICER and not ENLISTING as a SOLDIER. I just hate seeing military information presented wrong by people who don't understand what they're writing about!

If either of them die, I will never watch again. I wish I could find something that has news about next season. I won't even watch the premier if they aren't coming back! The only reason I started watching the show was K.H. I loved her on Roswell. I could have lived with George joining the military, then there is the chance for him to stop back in, but dead! NOOO!

Please Shonda . . George can't die!!!!! If him and izzie go . . i just don't know how many GA fans will stick around. They are by far my fav characters, especially George. I can't believe how upset a tv show made me! That is how great this show is . .but it won't be if we lose them.

I just cried when those elevator doors opened and George stood there in that uniform. I had no idea that bus victim was George. I just cried. I loved GEORGE... Good job with the shock factor but I really will miss him..

I Cried sooo much when i realised John Doe was George!I had no idea,, hadnt had the rumours...I guess Shonda is playing his viewers...so that next season he can bring back George and we wont feel bad about Izzies departure...i hope so.

OMG!! - the show was a cliff hanger for next season, Great Job! I was really beginning to be able to relate to George, the quite, shy type. Him dieing is the best way for him to leave the show. I do not want to see Izzie or George to go But WOW!! what a great way to get me back next year to see what happens.

O and 007 is what they called george when Berk picked him to scrub in with him on the 1st sergery (in episode 1) and the guy almost died.. christina and alex stared calling O'Maley 007 cause of James Bond-meaning "Licence to Kill". As for tonights episode it was a remarkable performance and story line and i just hope that there more instore for George than death. We want him to LIVE!!!!!

GA is not bigger than just one or two characters. It is the group dynamic that makes the show. Bring a new one in and let them go ie: Dr. Haan, Dr. Mrs Sheppard...NOT the original team!
