Personally, I love them. They have great chemistry, and look totally cute together. And I honestly don't understand why everyone's getting all hyped up about their age difference.
In fact, I seriously doubt many people would consider this strange if their age gap wasn't mentioned in the show.
Besides, WHEN DID MARK EVER START ACTING HIS AGE? Hell, even I didn't notice much of an age gap there was until I actually LOOKED it up. And even then it didn't matter, so stop offending the actual people out there that are in this type of relationship. Lexie is considered an ADULT by every Government system out there - their relationship is NOT pedophilic!
Shonda scored a great hand with this pairing, and if she plays her cards right, they'll make an absolutely amazing couple.
Every relationship has it problems, and for these two, it's the age gap. This isn't huge gigantic buzzkill; it's simply something that they need to overcome in order to strengthen their bond. This issue is why Shond

Sorry I think Mark and Lexie have great chemistry.
Some people don't like them because they split up or ruined the relationships between; meredith and Lexie and Derek and Mark, but both Meredith and Lexie and Mark and Derek moved past the innitial rift and are now closer than before.
Mark and Lexie bring a new dynamic to the show which it lost, it started to become all serious and no fun. Lexie and Mark bring this laughter back.

love them both. mark is still his sexy self while also being romantic and adorable. love what they do to each other. lexie has also grown up a lot w/ him. they are good for each other.
they are the only reason i started watching Grey's. now i have gone Grey's crazy and have watched every single episode and i still think lexie was the best thing for Mark and he was the best thing for her.
i love alex/izzie and mark/lexie they are my favorite couples.

love them together. shonda is listening to fans. they have great chemistry and are good for one another. mark loves her and that doesnt really happen to him. he is the one taking steps foreard in their relationship and putting himself out their and oppenin himself up to the possibility of getting hurt. this is great character growth for him and lexie is also maturing and not being so stuttery. they balance each other out while being totaly cute and hott at the same time.

I love Mark and I don't dislike Lexie. However, they are not for each other. It seems to me that they're trying to pull MerDer 2.0 (the hot shot attending and the intern).
I am against for two main reasons:
1. This might ruin Mark and Derek's friendship (that was the only enjoyable part of S.4). Mark doesn't understand where Derek was coming from. He did it as a favor to Meredith and Mark just seems to like pushing Derek's reasoning 'till the edge.
2. Lexie makes Mark boring. I hate to admit it but I loved manwh*re Mark. He was witty, funny, and alive. They're not in the same page. Mark has lived. Lexie still has a lot to see. I don't see what they have in common. She made my McSteamy boring.
I really hope that S.6 changes my mind...if they plan to keep it up.

This season has sucked, and the ratings have shown it. Find another channel? A lot of us have, and this mess of a relationship is a big reason why.
Shonda must not believe in them that much. She never shows any of their deep deep conversations. All we see is them having gross sex or gross conversations and Lexie acting like a 8-year kid in helium.
Also someone should tell Chyler Leigh stuttering your line and saying Oh my God all the time is so not sexy.
Mark would never have fallen for such an immature stupid little girl.
The only reason he even went after her was because Derek told him not to.
And those two when they do talk have the most assinine conversations I ever heard. They think we're ugly but we're beautiful.

Ugh. I'd rather poke my eyes out. He also looks the same age as her dad.
Then you put into the equation that Lexie is a freak who falls in love with any guy who pays ehr the slightest attention

Lexie is a bad actress. She thinks that stuttering or moving her tongue consist acting????? As a character, Shonda tried to make a very bad and annoying replica of Meredith. We don't forget how she hit on her boss to take all the good cases fromn the other interns, the way she blackmails emotionally anyone near her. She's spoiled and annoying.
Mark had some death with Addison but he ruined his best friend's life, he has no respect for people and is very insecure.
The Slexie relationship is superficial and we don't buy it. Callie did a great good to Mark, Lexie did not do anaything and there is no way we swallow them as the new MerDer couple.

I'm not a big Mark&Lexie fan, i like them separately because I think the age gap is too big. but hey, if their relationship don't ruin others (eg. Derek& Mark's, Mer& Lex's), the I guess I'm okay

Yes, some of us actually like Mark and Lexie. I think they bring out the best in each other. I don't understand the need to keep Mark the way he was - yeah, he was funny - but obviously not really happy with himself. I think this pairing is brilliant.
I would respect your silly comments about this pairing a bit more if you were able to elaborate on you opinions. The "slexiepuke" term is horrible, the references to paedophilia are immensely disrespectful and inappropriate in particular to those actually going through this in real life. Lexie is 24 and an adult perfectly able to make her own decisions.
And finally, this is a TV show. Enjoy it or find another channel.
This has been an amazing season. Thank you Shonda Rhimes and the rest of the band.

What specifically don't people like about Lexie and Mark being together?
McSteamy is GORGEOUS, so it SHOULD thrill all you girls to see him being all romantic, and Lexie is sweet and adorable! They have great chemistry together, and I honestly cannot see why people don't love them!

I think Mexie has no chemistry and they don't work together. I like them apart, but together they are a big bore.
He looks like her father, which is kind of icky to begin with.
He and Callie should be together, and she should be with George.
Just curious, but did the Mexie fans who are all upset about the Slexiepuke get that upset when people called Gizzie Gizzard and so on?
I was a Gizzie fan, and it sure upsetted me to hear that, but I don't rember the non-fans getting upset about it.
I think name-calling is juvenile anyway so I won't do it. I'm just wondering about the double-standard.
Truth is, most people don't like Mexie. They have very vocal fans who speak a lot and spam every thing they can , polls and message boards, but most people don't like them.
