Exciting, interesting casting news from Heroes creator Tim Kring:

According to a blurb in Entertainment Weekly, the show is looking for a twentysomething actress to portray a love interest for one of the main characters next season. in season 4.

This new individual will introduced in the fourth episode and here's where things get intriguing: interested candidates must be hearing impaired. Marlee Matlin, anyone?

    i submitted my information but was not cast. i am deaf, speak, sign and read lips very clearly and not to mention a great actress. i just did a two month run as lydia in children of a lesser god at barksdale theatre in richmond,va. i was looking forward in films and tv work. maybe next time.
