Ratings Report: Strong Showing for One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill took full advantage of Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton's final appearance on the show last night.

The season finale earned  2.7 million viewers, an increase of more than 20 percent from last week.

Among other primetime pickings:

  • Gossip Girl threw a quality graduation party, running even last week with 2.2 million viewers.
  • Two and a Half Men closed out its season with 16 million viewers, up nearly 2 million over last week.
  • The Bachelorette premiere scored an nine million, an increase from last spring's opener.
