The Beautiful Life: First Previews
The CW's freshman lineup for next fall is supposedly so good, its most hyped pilot (the Gossip Girl spinoff starring Brittany Snow as young Lily) did not get picked up.
One big reason why: The Beautiful Life. Along with the remade Melrose Place and The Vampire Diaries, it comprises a trio of must-see shows debuting in September.
The Beautiful Life stars Mischa Barton (The OC) and Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and newcomers Sara Paxton and Ashley Madekwe. From the looks of the preview clip below, the drama blends America's Next Top Model with Gossip Girl and The City.

i'm looking forward to this series, but it seems very gossip girl already. sonja disappearing and coming back, umm yeah just like serena. and let me guess, a frenemy rivalry coming up? i'll take it as a compliment to gossip girl :) and to bad mischa is in it, love sara paxton but, she was great in summerland. still looking forward to watching tho!
