I would love that ALEX and Izzie get married. MD will get married too, but the whole big wedding thing is just not Meredith.

Izzie has been planning her "dream" wedding... and the wedding we'll be watching will be in her "dreams"!!!
MerDer will have their wedding in their own terms --- A Beautiful Day --- isn't that what Derek says just before he operates? Could they possibly get stuck in the operating room and end up being married right after the procedure?

Well, I just saw a couple of pics (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjfPpyN7gCM) they´re called “Cast on the Set” , and you can more than clearly see Meredith in her lavender bridesmaid dress... and you can also see Derek: he´s wearing an everyday suit.
Third, you can see Alex wearing a very distinctive vest. It definitely doesn´t look like a vest a simple guest would wear.
And finally, you can clearly see Izzie running around (not dressed in any dress yet) with her hair done. It is a bride´s hair-do. She has a flower arrangement on her hair. A white flower arrangement. She´s definitely the bride, the one getting married.
I don´t know how they pull it off, how it all happens, but it´s definitely not Meredith’s wedding.

I think it will turn into Alex and Izzie's Wedding. Did you notice in the promo that the scene turns when there shooting the wedding and you don't see WHO is getting married!

It's going to be Alex and Izzie's wedding. In the sneak peek with Alex and Mer it's mentioned Izzie has a tumor, so MerDer will give them the wedding since it's Izzie's dream wedding and they didn't want that type of wedding in the first place. There's a reason why they don't show the bride and groom in the promo.
But MerDer will have their wedding too. In the finale.

Derek's family would be involved somehow if it was a MerDer wedding...There's no mention of his mother or sisters anywhere...

No I don't think so. How many times did MerDer say they want a SMALL wedding? They don't want a "churchy church" or a big ceremony. Mer is always talking about how big this day for Izzie is- but not for her. Shonda Rhimes also said: "viewers would be surprised by the bride and groom’s identities.”- why should we be surprised by a Merder Wedding??
So I think, after all they will be getting married but in a smaller wedding ceremony.

even if Mer-Der wedding won't happen, there is two more episodes to happen, even that is not happening they will be together no matter what, someone said that Denny is just a hallucination, lets hope it. Izie is my favorite character, it's near and dear to my heart, if Shonda wants to break million hearts into pieces her show will be in pieces too ! So Shonda , you better keep her alive no matter what, we suffered next to izie day by day hopping she will survive, she needs to live.
P.S. that scene with Denny is really creepy, i am really worried and can't wait till the next episode, we need her

5 DAYS TO GO! if that's even the case... they've changed the date on the merder-wedding website. before, it was the 14th and now the 7th, so I don't know what to believe anymore. merder never get their happy ending right away, everything always gets screwed up before. so i guess that will happen this time too. they'll probably end up getting hit by a bus on the way to the church. or, as everyone's saying, it's izzie and alex who get married instead. there's ALWAYS a twist for merder, no matter what, and i just think that, FOR ONCE, can't they just be happy WITHOUT any problems? "no no no, because they're merder and we have do that to keep up the excitement and to keep people watching". but it's just so not fare for all of the loyal merder fans who've put up with all the crap and break ups, we want a happy ending without any problems, at least i do. can't they just get that.

You all believe that Izzy will be the one getting married as she planned it all, it's her dream wedding, her big day,...I was thinking along the same lines, but I think it could all turn out much darker. Izzy is dating Alex, so one could assume, he'll be the lucky groom, but why should he? He wasn't the first guy to propose to Izzy, another one did that before and said other one shows up in a black suit on the wedding day. Since a wedding is a union between two people, I think it possible that Izzy will be infact reunited with her fiancee. With Denny. That is what he came for. His bride. To take her.
I don't want Izzy to die, but I cannot help thinking that just might happen in the next episode.

I saw pictures from the filming, everyone was on their lunch break and alex was wearing the outfit derek tried on the beginning of last episode... and mer had a purple dress on with a big long jacket over it ... same as Christina from the preview! its izzies and alex wedding! i just wonder what happens for mer and derek change their mind and izzie take over the wedding

Not sure what to expect for once we had a top episode this week I sincerely hope they will not go back in the "bold & beautiful" type scenario. Does Heigl and Knight have other movie project after GA?
