    Justin Chambers needs a nomination AND a win. He was amazing this season!

  5. Mrs.McSteamy

    Oh, and I didn't mention Kevin McKidd did I? HE NEEDS TO WIn, the guy is just amazing.

  6. Mrs.McSteamy
    Rank: Guest Star

    Episode: I liked both of these, it's just that I think there were others that were much better. In my opinion, Not Good At Saying Sorry (One More Chance), Now Or Never and Elevator Love Letter were amazing. These were my favourites.

    I think the lead actress nominations should be:
    Ellen Pompeo
    Sandra Oh

    Is there really a category for Voice Over Narrations? If so, Ellen HAS to be nominated for that. She does them so well and even though I've heard people say her voice is winey I don't think so at all. I love her voice and think she adds so much to the show.
    And, come on, how great was that "did you say it" voice over at the season finale. I still cry every time I hear her say that one.

    @pniie - There is no official reason for this. It might have been the Academy's choice to do it this way, this year. They may have to judge almost 50 diferent actors (if not more) and the actors usually submit 2 to 3 episodes to be judged...you do the math. This information was provided by one insider at the Emmys, so it might be the reason why it wasn't in the Rules & Procedures document.

    According to the Emmys Official Rules and Procedures (it's an awfully long 69 page document but here's a summary about it) here are the rules for the performers (in case that someone is in doubt about who gets to submit in Lead, Supporting and Guest - especially on PD's case).

    ENTRY INFORMATION:
    It is the decision of the entrant whether to enter as a lead or supporting performer (So yeah, it was PD's choice to submit himself as supporting). Series performers
    should enter according to their lead or supporting place in the body of work aired during the eligibility year. However, only those

    @anuflas: Thanks for the information!

    @anuflas - But if they can't submit their episodes till July 16th, if they're nominated, then what were they submitting recently? If the actors didn't even submit anything, then what the hell does the Emmy voters judge when they're deciding their nominees? They won't have anything to judge since the episodes can't be submitted till the actors are nominated. What?? This doesn't make sence.
