I'm sad that George is gone, but I want Izzzy to stay! I love her & Alex together. Alex needs Izzy to stay alive too! I want to see that relationship evolve AFTER she's better.

I hope the statement ""significant presence this fall" means another overacted, over-dramatic Izzie death scene, only this time letting the character exit for certain because though I liked Izzie before, I cannot stomach another season of Izzie's Anatomy. The over saturation of Katherine Heigl last season makes me actively NOT want to see her new film and I LOVE KH films. Just too sick of hearing about her diva attitude and seeing her non stop all season only to have her dominate the two hours of the finale while getting so little of the other characters:(

If we have in S6 another CRAP of Seteven´s Anatomy i will need to kill someone... Seriously? I want back my GREY´S ANATOMY i want back my MerDer. I don´t want another 30 sec per episode of merder i want back the screen time that they had in S4 part two(after strike). God i´m so sick of Izzie, it´s too much Izzie... You know... I liked her in the past seasons but and now i 'HATE' her... I do not stand her. Sorry izzie fans

I really enjoyed Izzie's Anatomy. (a)
And I still think she didn't go for an emmy because she wanted to give others a chance and she wasn't happy with what she did that season. I mean it happens al the time, that they don't go for an emmy.
And I mean TR and KH had the choice, and he choose to go and she choose to stay.

Yes, they should rename it to Izzie's Anatomy. I honestly don't think I can't take any more of this storyline but since EP is going on maternity leave soon...I think we won't get a break. Whatever. They should've killed her and let George live.
I'm not even sure if I want to see the season premiere anymore. I'll probably just DVR it. FF all the Izzie parts.
Sorry, this made me angry.
@Andie, I don't think that Shonda loves Katie, I just think that she wants her to keep her mouth shut so she gives her the material. Maybe the rest of the cast should start whining.

Sheesh, just rename the show Steven's Anatomy. Might as well, last season was full of her illness, next season will be full of her recovery. I'm sorry, I know a lot of people really like Izzy, but to me she's always seemed like a selfish character. George was the more likeable character, and if he hadn't been neglected the whole season, TR probably wouldn't have asked to leave the show.

katherine heigl is really lucky to have stayed and still be on the show.. i mean she basically said the writing wasnt good enough for her to go for an emmy.. if you insult the writers then if i was a writer i'd be pissed i'd pretty much be like fine whatever we'll kill you.. i'm surprised it wasn't TR that stayed and katherine that left but i guess TR did ask to stay.. i miss george-- he's so lovable and sweet(: but katherine (izzie) would probably get less scenes wouldn't she? Since they are all pretty ticked at her and she's lucky to still be on.. gosh the show has about as much drama as the hospital does lol

TR didn't want to come back or do more episode to give his character proper closure. That's on TR's hands not the writers.
I'm glad to see Izzie will still have a pivotal role to play. We only have four original interns left, and I rather she have screentime as compared to Arizona or Lexie.

I'm tired of the Izzie show. I wish George had had just a bit of her airtime this year. He had nothing and she was on all the time. Now it looks like the Izzie's show will continue?

Not to be mean or anything, but this chick needs to just die already. its pretty ridiculous if she lives. and as much as i love alex, i know he will be in a lot of pain if she dies, but really i think we have had more than enough of katherine heigl, i mean izzie stevens...

If they wanted to let her die, they had their chance with that elevator scene. If she dies anyway in the first half of the new season, I'm gonna be pissed.
