Ratings Report: True Blood Doesn't Suck

by at . Comments

The summer may not have a lot of new programming to offer, but that doesn't make True Blood's success any less impressive.

The second season premiere of the show drew 3.7 million viewers, the biggest audience since the finale of The Sopranos in June, 2007.

Other notable ratings include:

  • Jon & Kate dropped down to 2.9 million, down 70 percent from its season premiere.  Good, stop supporting a terrible marriage.
  • The Closer and Raising The Bar both dropped slightly from their premieres at 6.5 million and 3.5 million respectively
  • In reality television world, The Bachelorette averaged 6.8 million and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! dropped with 4.94 without its huge stars, Speidi
