A "Horrific Twist" in Store for Brian Austin Green on Smallville

The status of Brian Austin Green's relationship with Megan Fox is murky at best.

But we're learning more each week about the actor's season nine guest-starring stint on Smallville.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star will appear in the first two episodes this fall. Producers have told TV Guide that John Corben - the alter ego of Green's Metallo - will kick off his gig with The Daily Planet and then "his fate takes a horrific twist that will change his destiny forever."

Comic boon connoisseurs, familiar with the story of Metallo, are likely aware that this is the cue for the introduction of Professor Emmett Vale.
