I'm completely disgusted by the winner.
Out of 153 funny and non-offensive comments they choose one which is incredibly offensive, and i don't find it funny in the slightest.
I am pretty offended, i suppose the owners of the site think bulimia is something to be made fun of and ridiculed, and think it is okay to put a crude and disgusting comment on a picture of two young, thin teenage girls.
I hope this gets changed, i am really disgusted.

I'll be with you too, I've struggled with E.D. and I'm tried of people who make fun of it, I spent a good four years of my life with my head in a toliet because not only did I look in the mirror and see a whale but people would actually hear me and mock me, not only in the bathroom but in the classroom and not even the teachers would say anything to stop it. Well this maybe a joke to some people but I'm NOT to me.

im really glad some people agreed with me. And I want that caption taken down. I keep re-reading it and I am just in disbelief. Stick your fingers down your throat? I'm not sure if you think it's a joke because Blair had bullimia, but it's not. Not to the thousands of girls out there who struggle with it everyday. It's a disease. Not a joke. And I'm willing to go further if a new winner is not chosen.

For the most part, these caption contests revolves around humor: Blair's bitchiness, Nate's man bangs, Chuck's love of purple, and Jenny's eyeliner. That is why I cannot even BEGIN to fathom how a joke about a disease won.
So, so, SO many teen girls and young women-- THE DEMOGRAPHIC FOR GOSSIP GIRL AND GOSSIPGIRLINSIDER.COM-- struggle with eating disorders, and I find it disturbing and distasteful that this caption won.
So, now what? Young women with rock-bottom self-esteems and withering bodies are a source of humor? Let's not forget bags under the eyes, hair loss, and collapsing organs...
Not so funny anymore, huh?

Yeah, I didn't really think it was that funny, either. There were so many awesome ones... And it would have made much more sense if Blair was the one saying it, too. imho.
