It could be Vanessa (roommate), it has been said that Olivia will be V's roommate but she won't star till 5th episode and Georgina will be gone by then,, so maybe Olivia is her new roommate as replacement?

This is funny. I always thought in Season 1 that Georgina was obsessed with Serena and maybe had a crush on her. LOL.
I think she will hook up with Dan.
As for the roommate, from the finale we would expect it to be Blair, so maybe it turns out to be Vanessa instead.

It seems as though everyone is hooking up with everyone. Blair is with Chuck still (squeal!), Serena is obviously with Carter, Dan will be with Olivia, Nate is with Bree and Vanessa is with Scott. It's a hard decision but I'd have to say it would be with Dan.

we already know she requested her roommate to be blair, so clearly blair will be her roommate. and i think that since both dan and Georgina have unexpected love interests. who else will dan go out with, he hates blair, serena is his new step sister, and jenny is his family, so clearly other than olivia he has to have someone because there have been no pics of Hillary duff yet and we know that they are gonna go out, but dan needs a love interests in the beginning and Georgina is perfect she is only there for a couple of episodes.

If it's supposed to be unexpected it should be like Nate or Scott, right? I wish it could be Nate, just like in the books :P imagine that, Serena with Carter and Nate with Georgie. That would be... something, considering Serena and Nate are the "nice" guys. If we could then have Serenate after, even better.

her "unexpected love interest" couldn't be dan, cause he's hooking up with Olivia, it couldn't be Nate, cause he's with Bree, and it couldn't be chuck cause he's well...with Blair. And for all of you thinking, it couldn't be Scott, cause he's with Vanessa. So WTF?!! lol

it's dan. ausiello said that in season 3 a controvertional hook up was gonna happen and that dan was part of it. and nate is with bree and blair and chuck seem to be going strong

that would be funny
Georgina would be like all crazy stalkerish =)) and like trying to break up Chuck from Blair :(

The writer's idea of "unexpected" is usually something completely expected. So, yeah, it's probably someone we've known this would happen with for a while.
I think they use the word "unexpected" because they want us to really think of everybody.
But the roomate is obviously going to be Blair.
And I think the love interest is going to be Dan (since he's supposed to hook up with someone unexpected too :))
Chuck's too obvious- Georgina trying to mess with Blair yada yada.
I reckon Nate could be the 'unexpected love interest'. Georgie with the good boy... hmm. Will she turn Nate bad?

I could totally see it being Chuck - and Blair as her roomate and that would REALLY mess with Blairs head.

I think georgie is becoming lesbian so she's gonna fall in love with blair. I know its gross but it is possible though.
