Hmmm "controversial" is an interesting word choice compared to 'suprising', 'shocking', etc... In the books, Dan hooks up with a "geeky guy" - though ultimately Dan realizes he's not gay. With 4 episodes before Dan meets Olivia, both are plausible. The other usual 'controversy' is differences in age - e.g, hooking up with a young girl, or somebody's parent.

I think its pretty much completely obvious that V is with Scott. Who else did she meet briefly at the end of the season? No one.
And maybe the controversy with Dan is that he's dating Olivia and makes out with Serena? But I really think that kiss picture was just Penn and Blake

I know Dan is going to get with Olivia, but that's not controversial.
Maybe C and B have a tiff and who will B go to... maybe Dan!Chuck will get jealous before anything occurs, but when something does....oh lawdy. Who knows with GG. Oh I Love It. Thoughts?

vanessa and scott is obvious and i think that dan will hook up with georgie. that would certainly be controversial. plus the timing work because michelle t. is slated for 3 episodes and hillary duff appears in the 4th or 5th episode. perfect!
okay, so if blair is definitely with chuck, and vanessa is with scott and dan will be with olivia in episode 4-5ish, that leaves that bree girl, nate, serena, some "prince" serena is supposed to be dating, carter, georgina, jenny, and erik. and i think/know erik, carter, georgie, the prince, and bree are like temporary chars. or w/e. so anyways this is what i think will happen:
dan hooks up with serena, they find out about scott, realize they have to break up, dan meets olivia, serena meets prince, the end.
nate and bree start off together, then bree leaves or maybe bree and nate just break up and somewhere around the same time serena becomes single and nate and serena start dating (:
and then of course vanessa and scott get to know each other and blah blah blah.
also maybe dan and olivia simply are the hook up. maybe like olivia becomes friends with like georgie or blair and her and vanessa dont really like each other so he realizes maybe they arent a good idea, and then maybe ol

Who cares about Vanessa. I Don't. She bores me to tears, i can't stand her. She's such a pointless character that it's a shame that they waste money paying her salary. Jessica seems like a nice person and all but her character blows - even the author of the book series thinks that character is a totally waste.

I'm confused because because it says very early in the season for Dan. Isn't Hilary not coming on until the 4th or 5th episode? and if they do mean her, why would it be controversial? because it's hilary duff or because of another reason. I mean Dan was with Miss Carr I think that was controversial enough...maybe it's Serena in the first episode, I mean they are sort of siblings now.
Maybe it's Scott and Vanessa and then Scott and Dan... :o

If Vanessa is getting her own storyline I hope Nate is becoming a super hero or something. We want a great storyline for him too. Who should we spam about Nate, Blate, Serenate, Natree/Breete or whatever to make the writers and producers give him some attention? lol
