because this is a tv show with 6 seasons. It is impossible for writer make a couple together in all the whole seasons. They need break up them for some reasons or some problems, let them grow up, let them learn what is love each other!
Nate and Serena, I really do know what kind of storyline between them except their pretty face or same color hairs

NS have no chemistry, better yet, not even substantial interaction! In fact, Serena seemed completely oblivious of Nate's existence in s.2!

Dan and Serena could have been an epic couple, but the writers ruined them and made them annoying for most fans.
Nate and Serena need a lot of decent and interesting storylines/interaction before becoming a couple ever. Right now, it would seem out of the blue and incoherent, imo.

No Nate and Serena would be cool for maybe two episodes. Perhaps they could discuss how beautiful they are and style eachothers hair...

I guess the writers think "Ok, no one wants these people together so we'll just throw them together; but the couple people actually want together, we won't put them together because we want to p*ss off the fans."
Seriously though, this is annoying. We get Nate/Catherine, Nate/Random college girl, Serena/Aaron, Serena/Dan on & off again BS, Vanessa/Chuck, Blair/Nate BS again & a bunch of other people fans don't really want together but we get that anyways & we can't get Nate & Serena?

Like in the books, they are together and Nate secretly always loves and places Serena first over Blair. In the TV shows, this is not happening. He keeps going back to Blair. He NEEDS to be going back to Blake Lively/ Serena!!!!

There are two great things in this spoiler. First and most important it's Serena and another guy, which means NO Dan! Get him a life, get rid of him, I don't care. DS are over. Second it says there's still no NS hookup. Still! It's inevitable NSers. We already knew about that other girl for Nate, so, of course, we couldn't have NS now. But we will and it will be amazing.

Seriously, people actually think that Blake and Chace have chemistry?...where?...when? The Sheperd wedding scene? I doubt that was chemistry...the fake kiss on the white and white party? You have to admit that kiss wasn't real looking at all.
Dan and Serena are the only believable chemistry I see besides Rufus and Lily. They have a spark and at least their kisses look real.
I don't think i'd ever be happy with a Serenate union. Both characters are too boring to be together.
