i wonder if it could be something for izzie[she's catholic .too]. Maybe she's getting anointing of the sick or something like that or maybe he'll be a patient that has some sort of heart-to-heart with one of doctors.

I don't think Meredith is Catholic (Cristina once called her a WASP)...or religious at all, for that matter. The Catholic priest is probably either for George or Izzie (they're both Catholic), or he could just be a patient. Or, maybe he'll encourage Meredith and Derek to get married in a churchy church. Didn't someone say that there would be some fall-out from the post-it wedding? I thought I read that in a blog or magazine.

i think it is likely to be a funeral for george or a wake for George with the priest present!

I agree with you too Grey'sForever. It will be easy to hide her pregnancy while filming. And they won't bring Melissa George back since no one seemed to like her or her character. Very similar to Brooke Smith.
I think the Priest is for George's funeral. They will all be back in a churchy-church to say goodbye to George. And maybe that will spark Mer and Der actually getting married, more legally like so that they are never apart. No running. I also think they will hide Ellen's pregnancy like they did Cheryl's and shoot from the top up. Just wouldn't make sense for her to be pregnant so quickly after the "post-it" wedding. Plus if you look at her, it's not like she looks pregnant, except for the bump. Could be easy to hide I would think. Melissa George can't come back. She burned her bridges there. No chemistry in my estimation. Can't wait until it resumes.

I don't think there is going to be an actual wedding either. George's family is Catholic and so is Izzie. I think we could possibly be looking at a funeral. Or perhaps we're all being fooled. Like wannabeMer said, Shonda could be using the priest idea to throw us off. I don't know about you guys, but I'm super excited for September!

I think its time to get over the wedding w meredith and derek. In my opinion, the post-it was the best way for them to do it. I'm thinking the priest is for something death related. Izzies catholic as well so it could also be for her...

Meredith and Derek won't get married, because that would mean giving fans what they want ( *rolleyes* )
Shonda already said that the Post-it was the wedding :/

I'm agreeing with McHot- that was my first thought too... but the only thing wrong with that is that he flatlined at the end of the episode, so either he dies on the table, or they manage to save him and he dies later...

I totally agree with you Shannon.
Also, they are always looking for "guest stars" so I never read anything into it....half the time they end up going with someone different from who they were originally looking for. I remember not too long ago they announced (on this website) that they were looking for a half-black, half-caucasian to play a guest role and readers went crazy trying to figure out what character it would be for and I was going crazy reading all their ideas. And as far as I know it never even happened. I really think they say shit like this to throw us off track so we'll be surprised when the real episode airs. Seriously!
This is an example of what I was telling you about being "spoiler-free". How can you go on this website and NOT read articles like this when you are trying to be "spoiler-free"? I would like to try it but it's too hard for me to see a title like that and then NOT read it. What are the rules for being "spoiler-free" ?

It won't be a wedding. Mer/Der already decided that they are not churchy wedding people. Plus, they are already married via post it. I bet it is a priest for last rights for George. =(
