Lizzie on Disney was fine, but Hillary-horse-teeth Duff in 2009 is not.

Disney actors can grow up to be amazing. Look at Shia LaBeouf, he was a disney actor and is absolutely wonderful now. Well, I think he is anyway.

I wasn't a fan of Hilary in her younger days, but I haven't seen anything from her recently so who knows guys.. her acting could be better? And she's absolutely beautiful now. :)

The character doesn't sound bad but I'm not sure about Hilary, maybe I just keep seeing her as a disney girl.
As long as she doesn't go near Chuck and we have the awesomeness of Chair then I'm fine.
i rly dont like the idea... i love the show but hilary duff?? come on they could have found a much better actress for sure... im sure that she wont blend in haha just an opinion no hard feelings :)

Not too sure how I feel about this, at first I was upset, then I was impartial, now i'm learning to deal some. She's certainly an interesting choice, but i'm sure she'll do fine because I don't think the GG producers would even dare to risk somebody who will ruin the show. Besides, it's only going to be for a few episodes not the whole season.

I have a bad feeling that season 3 will be the end of REAL Gossip Girl. It's actually turning into some stupid teen drama, seems to me.

I was actually excited when I saw this, however as I continued reading, I was not thrilled. I have been a die hard Dan and Serena fan since season 1 and reading that she will be encroaching in that union makes me very upset! I'm ok with Dan and Serena taking a break for a while, and I know she is going to be with some prince and now Dan is gonna be with this girl, to say the least, this does not make me happy! I have nothing against Hilary, I actually like her a lot, but when you start interfering with my favorite couple, It makes me mad!!

Well I never see that serie before but now that she will be there I will see it she is great and I love her so much luck for her

hmmm, I agree with Karina. I don't mind the character, but the actress is kinda iffy. I mean the GG cast is so new and different. I just don't think Hilary Duff was a good choice. Eh. We'll have to see, I guess.

I'm not going to scroll back up and look, but comparing Michelle and Hilary is just ridiculous. Michelle is a fantastic actress, and I have followed her for a long time (Buffy etc) Hilary Duff however... not too keen, I hope this doesnt turn into a train wreck.. Im becoming very nervous about season 3.

WOW... "a movie star who enrolls at New York University in search of a traditional college experience" This just sounds so cliché... I think this storyline will be the worst so far, especially with Hilary Duff...
