I used to love hilary about 5 years ago.. But I don't really think she's that great of an actress and I don't care much to dan. So this pairing will probabl be my least favorite part of season 2. However I am greatful that she is not a love interest of chuck's because I fully believe in chair forever!!!!!!

No thank you. I just don't see her fitting in with the rest of the cast. I mean, they're all so fresh and gorgeous, honestly, I think Hilary is kind of average looking and boring. Plus I don't really like the sound of her voice. I just kind of think she's "ehh." Once she starts on the show I think they'll realize their mistake. They should have gotten someone new. Why should such a good show suffer because some Disney princess is out of work?
If she lays one finger on Chuck though, I'm so done.

I wish GG would stop casting celebrities! It's better when unknowns join the show because then I have an unbiased view of them. The only way you can cast a well known was like Tinsley Mortimer, playing themselves with only three lines.
I want Lauren Conrad to be on the show! I read a while ago that she wanted to be. What would be better than LC playing this part? Especially after all the references to the Hills on GG.
Hilary Duff isn't pretty; she's so blah.

When I was younger I used to watch her on Lizzie McGuire and just like every kid I loved her. Well now that I'm older and have been watching Gossip Girl for two seasons it's nice to see her on a different television show that I love. I hope she raises heck.
I'm really sad that people don't like her. I guess it's because of her Disney reputation. But I recommend you to watch her latest movies like What Goes Up. It's a great movie with twisted humor. We can't predict anything about how it will play out eventually . We'll just wait and see. I actually think it will be pretty good :)

I felt the same way. When they brought Vanessa on I absolutely hated her and wanted her gone but now she just sort of fits, annoying as she may be. I still agree that she is not considered one of the favourite cast members though.

you KNOW WHAT, I used to hate Vanessa, and sometimes Nate, and a lot of the guest characters (as many gg fans do,) but now, with CHAIR together and all the other characters not interfering with them, I couldn't care less. Can't wait to see CHAIR! GO SEASON 3!

I LOVE Blair!!! She is my favorite character, she is beautiful, interesting and delightfully mean. One of the most interesting characters in a TV series. Reminds me a little of Scarlett O' Hara in GONE WITH THE WIND...

I am so so mad!! I can't believe they selected HER. The GG cast is so fresh, unique, and absolutely stunning in their own way. Hilary Duff is none of those. She doesn't fit in. Ugh, as long as she doesn't do anything with Nate and Chuck, I think I can bear with it. But I am still very very disappointed with the GG casting people.
