Martha Plimpton to Guest Star on Grey's Anatomy
More guest star news. Martha Plimpton has been cast in a multi-episode role on Grey's Anatomy, according to Entertainment Weekly, via the Hollywood Reporter.
Plimpton, a three-time Tony Award nominee, will play the mother of a young patient, and her story arc will commence with the September 24 season premiere.

Jessica Capshaw (Arizona) was never on Private Practice, although she was around when Grey's and PP did the crossover. However, she used to be on a show called THE Practice. Maybe that is what you are thinking of?

I guess they are creating storylines for Arizona? Please could someone tell me, the actress who plays Arizona appeared in Private Practice, is she playing the same character in GA?

The girl from The Goonies, all grown up and playing a mom? Good for her. This show has a knack for casting really well, so I look forward to seeing her role.
