A few days ago, Justin Hartley shared his thoughts on how his character, Oliver Queen (aka The Green Arrow), will be portrayed on season nine of Smallville.
In a nutshell: Oliver may need to buy a helmet, he'll be falling off the wagon this fall.
Now, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor expounds on upcoming storylines for The CW hit. For example, will he face off with Zod?
"I have the good sense in my head to let Clark deal with [him]," Hartley said. "I'll stick to dealing with the ladies. Why would I start something with that guy? That guy looks tall in photos. I don't need a piece of that guy."
As for more general Smallville scoop, the actor confirmed that a portion of it will be focus on Oliver confronting his demons.
"I think he is going to struggle with the things he has been afforded [as a result of] his powers. He has sacrificed things and done things that haunt him... It's bad stuff. We need to get to the bottom of it."
