Charlie: Officially Returning to Lost

It's no secret that Lost is bringing back a number of characters for its final season.

It's also been announced that Dominic Monaghan will be a series regular on ABC's FlashForward this fall.

So, does this mean that his Lost character of Charlie is not included among the returning individuals? No. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Sources have confirmed to E! News that Charlie Pace will, indeed, appear on season six of everyone's favorite island-based drama. He'll return for three episodes.

Does this mean Charlie is alive? A ghost? You'll need to tune in and find out.

Smith Cho Nabs Recurring Role on Ugly Betty

Smith Cho has landed a recurring role on Ugly Betty.

The actress has starred on a pair of short-lived shows: Emily's Reasons Why Not and Knight Rider. She also appeared on an episode of Entourage in 2007.

Cho will debut on Ugly Betty’s two-hour October 9 season premiere - that's a Friday, remember! - as Betty’s quirky new officemate, Megan.

Betty has been promoted to features editor and she'll try to bond with Megan. Unsurprisingly, though, Cho's character won't know what to make of her.

Source Confirms Kara DioGuardi's Return to American Idol

Let there be no questions or debate, a source told E! News today, Kara DioGuardi is returning to American Idol.

"Her deal is done. There are no ifs, ands or buts," the insider said. "Done. She will be back."

No word yet on the terms of the contract, but rumors have been swirling for weeks about DioGuardi's status on the Fox competition.

She'll start shooting a new round of Idol auditions in the next week or so.

Leslie Charleson Signs New Deal with General Hospital

Good news, General Hospital fans:

Leslie Charleson has signed a new deal to continue on as Dr. Monica Quartermaine.

No word yet on the terms of the contract.

Michael Sabatino to Pop Up on Days of Our Lives

Michael Sabatino will soon reprise his role a Lawrence on Days of Our Lives.

A reliable source has revealed this casting tidbit: Sabatino's wife, Crystal Chappell, who is also set to reprise her character on the show in August. She posted today on Twitter:

"Michael will indeed pop up on DOOL."

Mad Men Season Three Promo Pics, Preview

What should fans expect on season three of Mad Men?

"I think what happens... is change. That's not just talking about the characters and the story and the arcs of all these people, it's about the culture as well," star Jon Hamm said at an AMC press event this week. "We are moving forward in time - it doesn't take place in a vacuum. The country was very much changing, and people were changing along with it."

Will Don Draper actually be loyal to wife Betty this fall?

"Well, people change and people stay the same. So I think I'll leave it with that," Hamm said.

Guess we'll need to tune in for the premiere on August 16.

Nestor Carbonell Confirms Series Regular Status, Previews Character Arc

It's one of the most pressing questions on the minds of Lost fans everywhere:

Why the heck doesn't Richard Alpert age?

Nestor Carbonell, the actor that plays this mysterious character, wonders the same thing. He, along with viewers, will find out next season, as Carbonell has been made a series regular. 

"I'm moving my whole family to Hawaii next week," he told TV Guide Magazine. "This whole time I've been flying back and forth, but now I'll be living on the island with the others. They tell me I'll be in 16 of the 18 episodes."

Meanwhile, executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof confirm that Alpert's backstory will take a long time to reveal. Said Carbonell:

"Obviously Richard doesn't age, so I'm most curious to know how old he is and if he's in fact pulling the strings."

James Earl Jones to Appear on an Episode of House

The list of impressive House guest stars for next season continues to grow.

Andre Braugher will play the head of the psychiatric institute in which House resides to begin season six.

Franka Potente will portray a yet-to-be revealed character.

And now we can announce that James Earl Jones has signed on to appear in upcoming episode this fall. He'll play an African dictator that becomes a patient at Princeton-Plainsboro.

Jones starred in Field of Dreams, among other movies, but is best known for his deep baritone of a voice. He voiced Darth Vader in Star Wars and Mufasa in The Lion King.
