Robert Knepper: Promoted to Series Regular on Heroes

Initially signed for just six episodes, former Prison Break star Robert Knepper has been promoted to a series regular on Heroes.

Knepper will play Samuel on season four of the show, "the reluctant ringleader of a carnival," as the actor explained at the San Diego Comic-Con festival last week.

In the wake of his brother's passing, Knepper added that Samuel "made a decision that his life is not going to be the way it used to be," as he "one-by-one lures the heroes into helping with" this new plan.

Check out the incredible-looking volume five trailer for Heroes to watch this character in action.

Beth Riesgraf Previews Character Arc on Leverage

On Leverage, Beth Riesgraf stars as master thief Parker.

In an interview with The Boston Herald, the actress dished on her character, explaining to fans what they can look forward to on the second season of the TNT hit.

"The throughline for Parker this season is that now that she’s comfortable around this group and she’s decided that she needs them in her life, the next step for her is acclimating herself and having a group of friends and people she can trust and how she deals with that,” she said.

Viewers, of course, wanna know if Parker and her partner-in-crime Alec Hardison will follow through on the mutual attraction that played out during the show’s initial season.

“People really want them to get together,” she said. “But if they did, people would be really disappointed. If it happens too fast, it doesn’t work. I think that the writers are being really smart about it. There’s enough there to play with and they definitely have chemistry, but you have to ride this one out, I think.”

Possibly Coming to Fox: A Bones/Lie to Me Crossover

How would Seeley Booth and Cal Lightman get along? We may soon find out.

According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Fox is considering a crossover episode next season that would feature Bones' Booth and Brennan working on a case with Tim Roth’s Lie to Me specialist.

Nothing is finalized yet, as a network insider said the plan is in its very early stages and “may not even happen."

Possible Bones spoilers alert: Brennan may tangle with Lightman in the fall.

This past spring, of course, ABC attempted a multiple-week crossover with mixed results. Some loved seeing the Private Practice crew invade Seattle Grace, while others felt like it was a cheap trick to force Grey's Anatomy viewers into watching another show.

Do you think Fox should give it a try with these two shows?

Franka Potente to Guest Star on House

Franka Potente is coming to House.

The German-born actress - who appeared on the big screen in The Bourne Identity and guest-starred on season six of The Shield - will appear in the two-hour season premiere, which is entirely based in the mental hospital in which House now resides.

House executive producer David Shore told E! Online of the opening episode:

"Those two hours take place basically exclusively within the institution" over a period of six months, as everyone's favorite damaged doctor tries to recover from the hallucinations that crippled him at the end last season.

Word has leaked out that the actress' character and House will get to know each other VERY well while in the asylum.

Meanwhile, it's been confirmed that John Dahl will direct the second episode of the series. Considering that his previous credits include True Blood, Dexter and Battlestar Galactica, this backs up talk that the series is far darker than many may realize.
