Coming to Mad Men: Twins?

by at . Comments

On this week's episode of Mad Men, Betty Draper said her baby was kicking. Correction: she said her female baby was kicking.

But will the Drapers really be welcoming a daughter in the near future?

Sources tell TV Guide Magazine that the series has put out a casting call for twin boys to play the part of the newest Draper family members.

Good luck, Don. Between two existing kids, two new twins and a senile father-in-law, you may need to start drinking even earlier in the day than usual.

Casting for twins doesn't necessarily mean that the character is having twins. I believe it's a fairly common casting practice. Not sure whether it involves labor laws,or what, but one example which comes to mind, off the bat, would be Lindsey and Sidney Greenbush, playing Carrie on Little House on the Prairie.

Mad Men Quotes

It's been a pleasure working with you all. I wish you the best of luck.

Peggy: Should we have lunch?
Joan: I want to burn this place down.
Peggy: I know. They were awful. But at least we got a yes. Would you have rather had a friendly no?
Joan: I don't expect you to understand.
Peggy: Joan. You've never experienced that before?
Joan: Have you, Peggy?
Peggy: I don't know. You can't have it both ways. You can't dress the way you do and expect...
Joan: How do I dress?
Peggy: Look, they didn't take me seriously, either.
Joan: I don't dress like you because I don't look like you and that's very true.
Peggy: You know what? You're filthy rich. You don't have to do anything you don't want to!
