As we previously reported, Gossip Girl heart throb Ed Westwick will guest star on the third season of the Showtime hit series Californication early this fall.

According to new reports, the Brit will be playing a college student at the school where the main character, Hank Moody (David Duchovny), is now teaching.

As for why Ed Westwick is stuck in a hospital bed, we'll have to tune in to the second episode of the season (premiering September 27) to find out  ...
