The former Ghostbusters star has joined the NBC drama in a recurring role. He'll play Captain Lubbock, a policeman on the hunt for one of the other characters on the show.
Hudson also portrayed a detective for seven episodes of Desperate Housewives during the 2006-2007 season; he's guest-starred on numerous shows, including Bones and Private Practice.
As depicted in the Heroes trailer for volume five, the series will introduce a new mythology this fall. It will focus on a traveling carnival of people, all with special powers, led by a charismatic ringleader (Robert Knepper).
