Following a wildly popular, critically-praised series premiere, Glee returns to Fox this fall with a full slate of episodes.

As fans get excited for a complete season of great songs and hilarious episodes, the cast spoke to E! News this week and gave readers a glimpse of what's to come. Here are a few excerpts:

Lea Michele, on Rachel Berry: "She might take a break from the glee club."

Cory Monteith, on Finn: "You see some of his backstory. He doesn't have a strong family situation, so a lot his life plays out in school. There's also a very strong father-son-type relationship developing with him and Will [Matthew Morrison] and you see that a lot, too."

Jayma Mays, on Emma's feelings for Will: "It's hard for me to consider it a love triangle because Emma would never want to see a marriage dissolve. I don't feel like she's a homewrecker. For her it's just sad, because I think it's rare that she connects with someone, and she has connected with Will, and she can't pursue it. It gets a little bit more intense."

Amber Riley, on upcoming songs: "We may be doing Brandy's 'The Boy Is Mine.' Maybe. And there might be a Dreamgirls song."
