Heather Locklear Inches Closer to Melrose Place Return

Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga are all returning to Melrose Place next month.

Grant Show might appear at some point, too.

But the name every fan of the original series keep wondering about is Heather Locklear.

Now, it appears as though the star is inching closer to a role on the rebooted drama.

“We’re huge fans of hers,” executive producer Todd Slavkin said at last month's Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, adding that the key criteria for inviting alumni back was: “Does it feel organic? Does it not feel contrived? That’s really what’s important to us.”

As Melrose Place spoilers have revealed, Sydney is found dead on the show's September premiere. This opens the door for characters such as Amanda to return to their old, sexy stomping ground.
