Forgive the obvious pun, but The Vampire Diaries clearly knows how to suck in viewers.
As The CW readies for the September 8 premiere of this highly-buzzed about series, it's released a pair of promotional pictures that nicely sum up the show's premise:
Elena is a regular high school student, caught between the love of one vampire and the evil intentions of another.
In this age of the Twilight Saga, and fights over Team Edward vs. Team Jacob, it's not hard to imagine why the drama is hyping its unusual relationship triangle. Just take a look at the creepy/sexy ads below:
