The first look at season nine of Smallville was a bit grainy.
But The CW has released its first official promo for the show's new set of episodes.
In it, we see shots of Zod, Metallo, the iconic Superman logo and Lois... in peril! Without giving away any major Smallville spoilers, the video is a must-see for all viewers:
