Will Violet and Pete Get Together on Private Practice?
Are Pete and Violet finally going to get together on ABC's Private Practice?
Let's turn things over to Tim Daly, who plays Pete, for more on that:
"When we first started, everybody wanted me and Kate Walsh to be together," he told E! News. "They were dying for it, and they just didn't get it."
"Not to say they might not in the future, but now people are rooting for me and Amy Brenneman to be together. They might get it. They may have thought they had it at the end of last season ... maybe not so much this season." That clears up ... little.
As for whether Pete is the one who knocked up Violet, all bets are still off. But fortunately, we feel pretty comfortable saying that Violet will survive.

I love that Naomi and Sam are finally separating their business (at least I hope), as this will actually give their relationship a change. Sam has been the whiniest character since day one "I dunno what I want, I'm so confused, I just want my ex wife and baby mamma and business partner to just hang around for whenever it's convenient for me to get on board." Puh-LEASE!
Keep Cooper and Charlotte together- it works, it's realistic and despite the Violet situation- I was happy with the fact that she got together with confused, emotionally unavailable Pete.
BUT? Why try to pretend Violet will die? That's just adding a whole level of drama to characters already emotionally confused and battered. Drop the whole "let's break Violet and Pete up" thing... at first I was rooting for her not to choose hi, but the season finale made it actually see Violet truly happy for the first time before the psycho chick came bustin' down her door.

@amy - shonda really said she loves vi and pete? i know only about her saying she loves cooper and char, i would like to read what she said, because P/V and C/C are my fave couples.

I watched clips of Violet and Pete. I like what I see of them. They have a real cute and sexy chemistry that works. Pete and Addison are both attractive, but they look forced. Cooper and Charlotte are good together, and he brings out some vulnerability in bossy Charlotte. Violet and Pete, Cooper and Charlotte are great for the show. Get a new man for Addison who completes her.

No Paddison. That is soooo dead. I love Violet and Pete! They are why I watch. Pete and Violet are going to be like the MerDer of Private Practice. And Shonda said she loves Violet and Pete. Plus, they are way hotter than Paddison. No way, no Addison. Violet and Pete are amazing! Best thing on PrP!

I want Pete and Violet to stay together, cuz they're cute together. And Cooper and Charlotte have got to stay together, because, well, they're my fav couple!! and Naomi and Sam, and Addison and.. hmmm, tough one. haven't figured that one out yet.

Pete needs to be with Addison, Violet's baby needs to be Sheldon's so that Pete and Addison getting together won't be weird, Cooper needs to be with Violet because they're so great together, and for the love of God, Dell needs to get it on with Naomi because even if it can't be long-term, they have great chemistry together!

I never understood the Paddison thing. And I love Cooper and Charlotte together, just as Shonda so don't split them up. But after all Pete and Viloet were the reason I started watching PrPr on a regular basis and the reason why I'm so curious about next season, I think they have great chemistry.
And also really important to me is that Dell has to got a romantic interest too. He's so sweet and clever, he needs someone who appreciates him in contrast to his co-workers ;)
and the idea of Addison and a cat - sounds nice :D

I completely disagree - Paddison is still my most-wanted couple of the show!!! Addie and Pete are great together - I like Pete/Violet as just friends! Probably Shonda is eventually going to do Paddison - but it can't happen too quickly - I mean, look at how long MerDer has gone back and forth on GA! Paddison all the way - and I want to see more of Addie and Naomi's friendship this season. Love PrPr!
